REWARDS NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents/Carers
Welcome to our Oxted Rewards Newsletter for the Autumn Term and the first edition of the school year.
As you know, we launched a new rewards system, and it has been amazing to see all the rewards our students have been receiving. We have also introduced a new rewards assembly, where each Head of Year leads a rewards assembly to celebrate the success of their year group. Many certificates and rewards were handed out during the assemblies, and this was a great way to end two successful half terms highlighting the achievements of the year group altogether.
Last term, we introduced Golden Tickets, Everyday Star, Academic Distinction, Tutor Awards, Pastoral Awards, and 100% Attendance. We have also started celebrating the highest number of Golden Tickets and Oxted Values from each year group weekly, the student with the highest number has their photo taken in our amazing new selfie frame!
Students have been working hard in lessons, during enrichment activities and within the community. They have also continued to thrive academically with some excellent results in their end of year exams.
I would like to congratulate everyone who has received Golden Tickets, Oxted Values, Academic Distinctions, Tutor Awards, Pastoral Awards, 100% Attendance certificates, as well as all those whose teachers nominated them for Every Day Star Awards and Principal Commendations at the end of each term.
We are excited to move into the Spring term, to continue to celebrate and recognise student’s efforts within and beyond the classroom, as well as outside school.
Miss Golightly Assistant Principal

At our school, we take pride in celebrating the hard work and dedication of our students. These Golden Tickets are distributed at the end of each lesson, and the achievements are celebrated.
At the end of each half term, the student with the highest number of Golden Tickets wins a £10 Amazon gift card. Additionally, they are entered into a draw where one lucky student wins an extra £10 Amazon voucher.
