I want to start this week by thanking everyone who attended and helped makethe minis festival such a huge success. We must also thank our sponsors of the festival, the Dragon School who joined us on the day and helped entertain siblings and parents alike throughout the day. Following the unprecedented rain, the club made the difficult decisionto scaleback the tournament and sadly had to cancel the U9 and U10 age groups. We must thank both our own teams and those who were due to attend for their understanding. Despite this, the day was a huge success and we were thrilled to also host a number of girlsteamsacross a the age groups for the first time.

It is a busy time at the club with much going on. It is a particularly specialweekend as the club will be hosting the Love Rugby Festival on Saturday. This is an open event for girls to come down and give rugby a try and we are thrilled to have four of theEngland Red Roses joining us on the day.

This Saturday our Men’s Third XV travel to Chesham RFC First XV in a must win game. The mighty 3s are a fantastic group of players who have competed all season against somereally tough opposition, they continue to do the club proud.

The Quins Men’s Second XV host Bicester RFC First XV with a 12pm kick off. Following a great performance and win last week against a strong Grove First XV they are looking forward to hosting the opposition on the AGP.

The last game to flag for Saturday is of course the Men’s First XV fixture away at Banbury RFC. History could be made on Saturday should the team secure a bonus point win as this would guarantee promotion to the national leagues. Kick off is 3pm and alltravelling support will be gratefully received.

On Sunday the Quins Women’s First XV travel to Bridgnorth RFC. Following their 104-0 win against Coventry Welsh, the squad are in fine form and hunting a win which would see them leap frog their opposition and move them into the top half of the table.

Last but by no means least, on Sunday the club willbe hosting the Southern Counties Festival. A major event in the junior rugby calendar, our thanks again must go to the volunteers who have worked tirelessly to help organise the event as wellas You Fibre who are sponsoring the event.

Enjoy your weekend of rugby and pf course the other games which aretaking place on Saturday - the Six Nations this season has been almost as exciting astherugby at Quins this year!
