WELCOME TO OXBOW COUNTRY CLUB

Members of Oxbow, It is with great excitement that we unveil the 2019 Membership Guide! For many reasons, I believe this season will be the best we have ever had. Most notably, we plan to open our nine new holes of golf, completing our five-year golf course renovation. I hope that you will find the 2019 season is filled with opportunities for you and your family to enjoy life at Oxbow.

The management team has created many new events, activities, and special days this season, as well as added enhancements to many of your favorites. We have a vision for your club to be the first choice for families in club membership. We continue to do all we can to be your home away from home, and a place where you are able to create memories and experiences that enrich you, and strengthen your bonds with family and friends.

I know everyone is excited for the fun to begin. This guide is designed to help you plan your warm season, so that you and your family can maximize all of the opportunities for social, recreational, and athletic activities and events. We could not do this without the almost 100 amazing teammates who work at Oxbow during the season. We hope you always find a friendly, welcoming face when you are at your club.

Most of all, thank YOU for your continued membership and support of Oxbow Country Club. This year promises to be an amazing one, and I feel honored that I get to share it with you.

LADIES’ NIGHT *No Ladies’ Night July 3rd

Join us on Wednesday evenings for a half-hour ladies’ golf clinic. Clinic topics will vary each week and are an excellent opportunity fo golfers to learn everything from driving to chipping to putting. Clinic price includes a complimentary cocktail of the week! Following the clinic, put your skills to the test on the course and participate in an optional golf game. Once a month, we will take a break from the normal Ladies’ Night format to bring you a themed scramble. Dates are found below. Stay tuned for more details!

Whether you are just starting to play golf or are a scratch golfer, men’s day is about tradition, friendship, great golf, and a fresh-cut steak grilled to perfection when you are done.

JUNIOR GOLF JUNIOR GOLF PASSPORT Junior golfers at Oxbow are invited to participate in the Golf Passport Program! The goal of the Golf Passport is to track your Junior’s practice throughout the summer. Each time your child comes to golf, he or she will receive a “stamp” in the Passport. Awards will be given for the most stamps at the end of the season!

OXBOW JUNIOR GOLF CAMP June 3rd—7th | 8:30 AM—12:30 PM daily $125/Member | $150/Guest

Recommended for ages 7-12, Oxbow’s Junior Golf Camp is the perfect way to get your children involved in the game of golf! Oxbow’s Head Golf Professional, Corey Herlickson, will lead this camp with the help of the Oxbow Golf Shop staff. Topics of instruction will include everything from golf etiquette to swing mechanics. The week will end with a team scramble on the course on Friday! Junior Golf Camp is open to children and grandchildren of Golf and Social Members. Price includes daily lunch and tee prize.

Open to ages 5—14, children of all abilities are welcome to attend this Junior Golf Clinic, which includes one hour of instruction on the practice tee, followed by one hour of guided practice on the course with the Golf Shop Professional staff.

PGA JUNIOR LEAGUE $300/Child June 5th—July 22nd *Off Week Of July 4th Recommended for ages 7 to 13, PGA Jr. League is a summer-long program that features team scramble matches against other local Fargo-Moorhead facilities. Team scrambles will take place on Mondays at 6 PM. The PGA Jr. League program will also include weekly practice sessions at Oxbow on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. Fee includes: team jersey and t-shirt, welcome pizza party, bag tag, Titleist hat, PGA instruction, end-ofseason banquet, and regional & national playoffs opportunity. PGA Jr. League is open to children and grandchildren of Golf and Social members.

KIDS’ DAY CAMPS ROCK STAR CAMP July 8th—11th | 9 AM—4 PM

$180/Child | Ages 7—12 Here’s your child’s chance to rock the stage! A variety of music -themed activities will culminate with a rock concert performance the last day of camp with full-on costumes, staging, and sound! This ultimate camp experience will be rounded out with plenty of traditional camp activities as well, including games and fun in the pool! Children will receive lunch and an afternoon snack.

OXBOW KIDS’ CLUB Throughout the summer, be sure to check out our complimentary kids’ activity schedule at the pool! Activities will range from arts-n-crafts, to lawn games, to science experiments! Every time your child attends an event, they will get a chance to win “OxBUCKS”, which can be used on food & beverages at the pool!

Science, technology, engineering, and math are the focus of this exciting day camp. This fun camp is for all aspiring creatives! Campers will get a chance to make everything from arts-n-crafts to special recipes. Every day, we will welcome a guest instructor to teach the kids a new skill and/or create something special to bring home. Traditional camp activities will round out this fun week.

Fire up your abs, lower back, and glutes to build a stable, stronger, and more powerful core. You will use various exercises and strength-building moves to sculpt all your major muscle groups. A fluid blend of Yoga, Pilates, Bodyweight, and Flexibility will challenge your entire body with a special emphasis to take your core to the next level! Taught by Certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach Becca Murphy, this class will take place outdoors course-side.

Participants should bring their own yoga mat. In case of rainy weather, class will be held indoors. This class is for ages 15 and older (ages 10—14 if accompanied by a guardian).
