ue to the ongoing pandemic, travel restrictions in many states, and the recent events in our nation’s Capitol, TRAA’s 3rd annual Legislative Action Workshop is going virtual for 2021! While this wasn’t the original intent, we are excited to try this wonderful event virtually. Many trade associations across the country have gone virtual in 2020 and 2021 with great success. We’ve still got critical legislative work to do! As the industry’s only national “hill day”, our goal is to advance the association’s legislative goals specifically: • national move over law provisions • weights and measure amendments (23 U.S.C. 127) • combating federal increases to insurance requirements (Moving Forward Act H.R. 2) • under 21 driver regulations (FMCSA 2018-0346-1124)
