I’manartist,children’sbookillustrator,andarteducator originallyfromUkraineandnowlivingintheUKasa refugee.Mycreativejourneyisrootedinresilience,identity, andthebeliefthatartcanbeapowerfultoolforconnection andhealing.Irunheritageandartworkshops,especially focusedonPetrykivkapainting—avibrantUkrainianfolkart —andIworkcloselywithchildrenandadultstocreatesafe, joyfulspacesforself-expression.ThrougheverythingIdo,I aimtosupportothersandbuildamoreinclusive, compassionateworld.
Aboutmywork:
Myillustrationsarerichwithemotion,folklore,and imagination oftenfeaturingnature,magicalcreatures, anddreamlikescenes.Ibringtraditionaltechniquesinto contemporarystorytelling,blendingdetailed,expressive artworkwiththemesofbelongingandtransformation. Diversityandinclusionareattheheartofmypractice—I strivetoreflectawiderangeofvoicesandexperiencesin everypieceIcreate,whetherit’sforabook,aworkshop,or acommunityproject.
