B: Your character is somewhat of an enigma in ‘The Walking Dead’, is she a spy intervening with the wolves etc. What is your favourite part about playing Enid? K: I can’t tell you exactly what Enid is because that would ruin all the mystery that surrounds her. Also, my favorite part of playing her [is] just getting the chance to act as such a complex character. B: Who are you closest to in ‘The Walking Dead’ cast? K: I wouldn’t really choose one person in particular. Everyone is just really close. It’s a huge family. B: There are so many women (and men) in the TV and film sector who aren’t afraid to speak their minds with regards equality in this industry, with men having more lead roles and most times being paid more etc. As a young actress, this must be quite inspiring that these discussions are happening. What’s your view on this? K: I’m glad that the issue is being talked about, for sure, but I don’t really have that big of an opinion [on] it yet. I’m always happy to see more roles for women. 43
B: Do you have a strong desire to work with any actor in particular in the future?
B: It’s probably been non-stop filming with ‘The Walking Dead’, but what do you have planned this Christmas?
I don’t like fame or a lot of attention, and the closest thing I’ve had to a pet were a few fish. K: Meryl Streep because you know she’s awesome. B: Do you have a quote or saying that you live by? K: No, I just do my best to live as great a life as I can and to be happy. B: Tell us something that your fans don’t already know about you? K: I can close one nostril and not the other. I don’t like fame or a lot of attention, and the closest thing I’ve had to a pet were a few fish. My brother had one [who] was called Baby Fish another Rainbow Fish, and then I can’t remember the rest.
K: Sleeping, eating, and quite time. Also you know, spending time with family and friends. The Walking Dead must be an incredible experience for a young actress, and the fact that you have been cast in this franchise so early on in your career. What sorts of roles do you want to play in the near future? K: Some character that’s complex and interesting, for sure. B: Is there anything else you would like to share with your fans?
