Michael Langworthy began with the senior club in 2004 when he spent 2004-2005 with the Under 18s and played 30 games. In 2006 he progressed to the Reserves and kicked 50 goals in 20 games as Monbulk made the Grand Final.
Michael then became the senior full forward and was the leading club goalkicker in 2007 (42) and 2008 (58). Michael played as a ruck/forward and was a very strong mark and accurate kick. In 2011 he finished runner-up in the League goalkicking in the home and away season and his tally of 73 after the finals made him the League's leading goalkicker for that season. His tally of 44 goals in 2017 had Michael win the club goalkicking for a fourth time. His best goal tally in an individual game was 10 v Yarra Glen in 2011.
Michael played his 200th game in the Seniors in 2021, becoming just the 17th Monbulk player to achieve that feat - the season was cancelled the next week due to Covid. For most of that time he wore the No.8 guernsey.
Michael began coaching the Reserves with Dean White in 2023, which meant his retirement was deferred for a little longer as he again pulled on the boots. His current games tally is 200 Senior games (442 goals - club record) and 46 Reserve games (103 goals) along with his 30 Under 18s games has him on 276 club games with the Senior club.
Michael had also spent 9 years with the Monbulk Junior Football Club 1995-2003, where he played 135 matches, meaning that in all matches played for Monbulksenior and junior - Michael is currently on 411 games and he is in his 30th year with Monbulk clubs.

HAYLEY MELSON 200 GAMES MILESTONE!
At Pakenham they love to celebrate their players, and during their current Outer East 2024 season have had a record 28 milestone Game celebrations.
On Saturday Pakenham celebrated Senior Player, Coach, Umpire & Committee Member Hayley Melsen‘s 200 milestone game.
Hayley commenced her journey with Pakenham in 2013. To date, Hayley’s distinguished playing career at Pakenham has seen her win many club & league awards.
Throughout her netball pathway, Hayley has also played for both Gippsland Storm and Pakenham Netball Association, and was selected in 2015 for Netball Victoria Eastern Talent Academy.
Hayley commenced coaching for the club in 2016 as part of their important mid week stadium program, and her love of coaching was immediate. Hayley joined the Saturday coaching team in 2017, which saw her in 2023 coach her U17 team to the Grand Final, where they were runner up.
There was a formal presentation court side before Hayley’s B Grade game with her netball family forming a guard of honour as she took the court to play.
