If you’d like to apply, just fill in the short questionnaire below and return it to us as soon as possible to hello@outburstarts.com To ensure we’re all good for healthy and safety info, you must be able to attend our volunteer induction evening on Wednesday 29th October, 7pm-8.30pm at our city centre office. INTRO Volunteers are a hugely valuable and core part of the Outburst Team during and before the festival. Volunteering is great way of contributing to Outburst’s mission of promoting LGBTQI equality and queer visibility through high quality arts programming. You’ll also get to see behind the scenes of a working festival, meet some lovely new people at events and see some fantastic world-class work. We want to build a team of dedicated, enthusiastic and friendly volunteers who will engage well with/ support our audiences and artists and help us out with everything from running to the shop for tin foil, to door duties, to supporting access for patrons with disabilities. We love to see volunteers of all ages and backgrounds, as long as you’re up for being on the ball in a busy environment, we’d love to have you on board. Thanks! Please note that while working at events will enable you to see some of the shows/events that you’re working at, in some instances you may be required to be outside a venue or needed elsewhere during a performance. We always try to accommodate volunteers when we can but if there’s something you simply can’t miss, please make sure that you’re not on the rota for that event as we do need volunteers to be available for tasks when needed.
