“A prescription for a healthier, more spiritual, productive, and fulfilling life.” —DR. GRACE STEPHENS “God is a refuge for us. Selah” —Psalm 62:8 ESV
SUZAN JOHNSON COOK
Selah appears many times in the Psalms and is frequently understood as a musical pause or rest. That’s exactly what these 40 devotions will do for you . . . give you the freedom in the middle of your minute-by-minute schedule to just be. To pause and rest. To make it part of your life’s natural rhythm to listen for God’s voice, relax in His love, and remember His promises. You do so much for your family, your church, and your world. Now do something for yourself! Suzan Johnson Cook and forty women of influence speak out of their own experience, inviting you to enjoy retreat and renewal with your heavenly Father, just as they have. “Food for the soul.” —CHERYL WILLS
