THE CLASS OF 2025

Emma Bailey is a senior BFA Acting major. Some of her favorite Otterbein credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena), Everybody (Cousin), Dry Land (Amy), Bright Star (Spirit), and her most notorious credit, Otterdrag (Axle Rod). In the spring, Emma’s dreams will come true as she moves to New York City. She will be interning at DGRW Talent Agency, and finally in the same city as her girlfriend, Reilly! Emma wants to thank her professors for the incredible training, and her classmates for being walking master classes. Her assuredness and confidence certainly have grown from the opportunities she was given in her time here. She extends special gratitude to her parents—for support that never felt far away (and that we’re Baileys and we win), God, Ben and Ava—for unconditional love, and to the juniors she wishes were coming to New York too (Nora—a gorgeous actor and even more gorgeous friend. Melody—who’s accessibility to joy is one of her favorite things. Simone—who’s outlook on life has enriched Emma’s greatly), and her “little” Anna Byers, who she is so proud of. And last, but certainly not least, a thank you to Sara Fishburn for giving her a safe space to own her power and voice; for seeing her in rooms she wasn’t able to see herself in initially. Emma hopes you enjoy Launch, a labor of true love, and thanks YOU for all the wonderful support through four unforgettable years. emmamadisonbailey.com

Caroline Bowers is a senior BFA Musical Theatre major from MD and TX and she is so glad that you are here today! In her 4 years at Otterbein, you might have seen her as Doralee Rhodes (9 to 5 the Musical), Fraülein Kost (Cabaret), Lucy Grant (Bright Star), or most recently as The Diva Horse (Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812). There aren’t enough words to describe how this program has impacted her, so she would like to say thank you to all of the faculty for giving her this opportunity to learn and grow. She would also like to thank her mom and dad for supporting her dreams from the beginning, her class for sticking together, Anna Elliott for not giving up on her, Roberto for believing in her every day, and Keliah for giving PCD (her fish) a new home! She will be moving to New York City in January, interning with Henderson Hogan Agency, and starting the journey to pursue her dreams in the big city. Here is to the class of 2025! @carolinebowers
