Every seat in the college chapel wa fi lled Saturday evening, May 2-1, when the French Clwb and member of the third year French class pre­ sented the annual program of French plays. · Three dramatic offerings in French, "La Malade lmaginaire," "La Barbe Bleue," and "L.Initiat ion," were pre­ sented on the evening's program. The first play, "L'l nitiation," a one act comedy, was played by members of th e third year cl:i~ . Thi play was memb er .n o a th e initiation r F rench club.

The feature of me evening· pro­ gram was the three act comedy "La Malade Imaginaire," by Moliere, which was pre ented by the French Club. In this play the leading parts were taken by Joe Mayne. Edna Yaus and Wray Richard on.

Following the production of th e French Cllllb, member of the third year clas presented a one act play, "La Barbe Bleue." · The popularity of th e French pro­ duction was hown by the packed hou e, and Profe or Ro elot and Mill with Mr . Ro elot who directed the play , are 'to be congratulated upon the incred ing merit of tl'lese arti tic productions.

cert. If concerts were scheduled the girls would be in spired to do their best and the quality of the club would be one af which Otterbein could be proud.
