H . \'ogle, trav e ling sec retary for th e stu dent olunteer Movement occupied th e chape l period last 'vVe d ne day morning by giving a talk o n. "The Ori rnt and How it Stands To day". Mr. \ 'ogle is a ver;, p1·oficient speaker and he te lls his story from first hancl information as he has spe nt everal years ,vorking :imong the Ori• ental peoples. . The main facts brought out in his brief addr es were that there are at present two ma in political parties at work in J apan, one standing for the _principl es of cl emoc:-acy and the other militari ti c in its program.
