If your client prefers printed documents, please let us know at the time of booking or before final payment.

For each traveler who receives electronic documents (eDocs) in lieu of printed paper documents, Contiki will plant a tree on their behalf through the One Tree Planted organization. Please join in our efforts to support sustainable tourism and encourage your travelers to opt for electronic documents.

Sign into our agent site at contiki.com/agents. Don’t have a login? Register by using your agency’s IATA or CLIA number. Or if you have a login with a sister brand (Trafalgar, Insight, etc.) use that to access the Contiki Agent Site.

Use our refined search and filtering functionality to search by keyword, countries, travel dates, etc. Then, recommend one of our 300+ trips that best suits your traveler’s style, season and bucket list needs.

When your traveler is ready to book, enter the desired trip name or trip code (if you’re a Contiki pro) in our easy search to view a list of available departures and then select the departure date that works for your traveler.

It’s always a good idea to recommend pre/post nights when booking your traveler so they can sleep off jet lag or in the instance of flight delays (you just never know). We recommend booking your traveler on a “definite” departure status trip especially when not booking airfare with Contiki. If you do not book airfare with us and a non-definite trip is rescheduled, your traveler will most likely incur change fees, which are enforced by the airline companies and outside of our control.

When you book your traveler's airfare with us, all that's needed to secure their spot is a $350 air deposit and payments can be made up until

The world is uncertain; we recommend all travelers purchase comprehensive travel protection and Contiki offers great, commissionable plans through Aon Affinity. In order to purchase travel insurance through Contiki, it must be added to your traveler’s booking before final payment is received and within two weeks of the original deposit date. If your client chooses to purchase travel insurance on their own, we strongly recommend that the insurance covers cancelation, personal liability and loss of personal property.

You can do this for them via My Bookings on contiki. com/agents or they can register themselves via MyContiki (they can visit contiki.com/mycontiki for more info). Registration is easy and only requires their first name, last name, email address and phone number. Please be assured, this information is only for administrative and legal purposes. We won’t be using any of this data to encourage your client to book directly with us.

Your traveler’s Contiki Trip documents will be emailed to you and your client approximately 21 days prior to the departure. Q: HOW MUCH LUGGAGE CAN MY CLIENT BRING?

A: Luggage requirements are restricted to 1 reasonable-sized, non-expand­ing suitcase size up to 29" × 20" × 10" at a max weight of 44 lbs. We recommend that your client carry 1 small backpack/day bag, at a max weight of 8 lbs, that they can bring on the coach with them.

Q: IS THERE AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR SOLO TRAVELERS? A: If your client is planning on traveling alone, let them know that nearly half of our travelers go solo. So really, they aren't alone. Also, if they don’t want to pay extra for a single room, we can set them up with a same-sex roommate at no extra charge.

Or, if they prefer the privacy of their own room, we can do so on trips with hotel accommodations (if available) for an additional sur­charge which varies by trip.

Q: WHAT IF MY CLIENT IS UNDER 18 OR OVER 35?

A: Our trips are designed exclusively for 18-35 year olds. Your client can travel on a Contiki trip as long as they are 18-35 on the first day of the tour. For travelers outside this age range, we recommend another member of the TTC Family of Brands.

Q: WHAT DOES "DEFINITE" DEPARTURE STATUS MEAN? A: Contiki has designated a large number of trips as Definite Departures. These are guaranteed to operate except under circumstances beyond our control. We are continually updating trips with Definite Departure status throughout the year to ensure that the vast majority of our departures operate as scheduled.

Q: WHAT ARE FREE TIME ADD-ONS AND CAN MY CLIENT PAY FOR THEM IN ADVANCE? A: Free Time Add -Ons are optional activities that allow your client to experience the best the destination they’re visiting has to offer! Many of the Add-Ons available for each trip can be found on contiki.com/agents. Our optionals do cost extra and can only be purchased on the trip through the Trip Manager. Please advise your client that payment for optionals is paid in local currency or via credit card in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and USA.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS TO MY CLIENT'S COURTESY HOLD AFTER 72 HOURS? A: If your client does not put a $200 land deposit on the trip being held within the 72-hour window, their spot will be forfeited at no charge.

Q: MY CLIENT'S TRIP WAS RESCHEDULED. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN AND WHAT DO I DO NEXT? A: Sometimes, Contiki must reschedule a trip if there are not enough travelers to pro­vide your client with the social Contiki experience they're expecting. In the rare instance this occurs, give us a call and we'll provide you with other options. If your client’s flights are booked with us, we’ll cover the change fees if they book an alternate trip.*

Q: WHY CAN'T I BOOK MORE THAN ONE TRIP ONLINE FOR MY CLIENT? A: Currently, you can only request to add a 2nd trip to your online booking. You will need to speak with a Contiki Expert to actually book a 2nd trip and receive the multitrip discount.*
