Northwich followed by Saturday’s defeat at Sheffield. The old adage of not getting too high when you win nor low when you lose is definitely one to take on board I believe. We played some good stuff against both sides, with small margins in both games affecting the results.

Grant, despite being disappointed with the result at Sheffield, was able to take positives from the performance with some good attacking play, particularly in the second half, just lacking a little bit of clinical finishing. There were several players making their debuts and while there is already a strong bond off the field, it will take a few games to properly click as they get used to the way each other play.
