Osho Kundalini Meditation and its Long-term Benefits

Osho Kundalini meditation is a one-hour shaking and dancing practice that helps awaken the sleeping Kundalini energy within the body. Kundalini is what Hindus refer to as the “sleeping goddess” or “serpent power” that is inside the human physique. It is believed to be coiled at the base of the spine since birth. Osho Kundalini meditation is best done at sunset or in the late afternoon. Allowing yourself to shake and dance enables you to release the tensions and blocks in the body and bring the flow of positive energy into your being. This leads to bliss and joy!

There are many benefits to practising Osho Kundalini meditation: Stress management Osho Kundalini meditation has four stages: The first two immerses you in shaking and dancing to ‘melt away’ blocks in the body and in your being. The last two stages are done by sitting still with music and then lying down in silence. These stages enable the energy to flow vertically and move upward, creating deep relaxation and stillness. The practice is a great way to unwind and let go at the end of the day. That's the reason why Kundalini meditation is highly effective at sunset or late afternoon. If you are experiencing stressful situations at work, doing this meditation will help you cope and start afresh the next day.
