A mark of conformity is a protected mark issued by a body performing third-party conformity assessment, indicating that an object has been evaluated and is in compliance with specific requirements. ICC-ES marks provide evidence that a product has gone through a rigorous technical evaluation by expert staff, ensuring compliance to the latest applicable codes and standards. Once an ICC-ES evaluation report is issued to a building product manufacturer, the manufacturer is authorized to apply the ICC-ES mark of conformity to their product as proof of compliance. ICC-ES marks are marks of confidence because they are the most widely accepted and recognized in North America and other regions around the world, and the preferred choice by code officials and government regulators – allowing them to instantly approve products for installation with confidence and peace of mind. Country-specific marks are available for Canada and Mexico, to show compliance to Canadian and Mexican standards, for use in those markets. Program-specific marks are also available to products evaluated to specific schemes or programs, in which case an additional identifier is also provided below the mark, such as compliance to the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), low lead requirements, and environmental (Green)

Belgard®, the leader in outdoor living essentials for the patio and beyond, announced its 2022 Color of the Year – Jetset. This true blue color feels like a long-awaited exhale, representing optimism and hope in the new year. Jetset is an energizing hue, full of the promise of a glorious new day. It brings a vibrant and bright feeling to outdoor living spaces and complements Belgard’s paver palettes perfectly, balancing with both warm and cool tones and enhancing the increasingly popular trends of linear design and geometric patterns. “We wanted this year’s color of the year to reflect in outdoor design a sense of hope and vitality,” says Joe Raboine, Director of Residential Hardscapes at Belgard. “Rather than being more muted and subtle, we wanted our 2022 Color of the Year to represent the excitement of a new year and the readiness to do more, be more and live more. Jetset is a much-needed dose of liveliness and joy.” Jetset is the perfect pop of color to enhance any color palette and aligns with several emerging 2022 design trends, such as:

Monochromatic Colors With Accents – Lighter tone-on-tone colors have been standard with pavers for some time, but the use of accents and accessories to create a brighter, or contrasting, space is becoming more popular. Like interior design trends, the use of cool tones with choice accent colors is bleeding into outdoor living design. Jetset accessories can be used to add a bright, eye-catching accent to any outdoor space.

A New Way of Thinking About Housing in California A new and innovative home design is offering a solution to housing issues in key segments of the California market. The Zomes Bioceramic Dome is an alternative to the traditional home design that's affordable, energy efficient, earth friendly, toxin free, constructed quickly and a great investment. From shortages and rising prices to neighborhood tensions over land use, housing issues in California are affecting people across the state. Younger buyers struggle to find an affordable price point to enter the market, and middle-income

California's new SB 9 law is intended to address these issues by allowing greater flexibility in residential property use. The new law aims to stimulate residential development by allowing homeowners to take steps such as dividing property into two lots and building on each lot. "People are searching for affordable
