This author is John Boyne.

He was born in Ireland on 30th April 1971. He is te author of five books The book with more success is EL niño con el pijama de rayas.

Summary: The book is about a child called Bruno. He lived in Berlín with his parents and his sister. One day Bruno went back home from school and he saw his mother preparing the suitcase. They were going to other house because of the war. Bruno didn’t want to go to other house. He wanted to stay with his friends. But his father was one member of the Nazi army and Bruno didn’t know.

When they arrived to the new house Bruno went to see his new bedroom. Other day, Bruno discovered a place where there were more people. His people wore striped pyjama. Bruno could see a boy called Shmuel. He talked to Bruno. The next day, Bruno went to see Shmuel but he had bad news. He didn’t find his father and 3

he was very worried. He needed Bruno to help him to look for his father. Bruno needed to go into a striped pyjama. When he got the pyjama Bruno went into with Shmuel. They started to look for his father but they didn’t find him. The people started to run and pushed the children, they were scared.

The people were pushing the children into a room where some showers.
