Cambodia promises to usher in an era of unprecedented democracy and open society with the starting of the electoral campaign for the country NATIONAL ASSEMBLY, the main chamber of the parliament.
The international community expressed his support for this national commitment to hold free and transparent polls and more than 65.000 national and international observers will give their seal of approval to the parliamentary elections slated for Jul 29, 2018.
The three-week long campaign started on Saturday with the candidates for 20 parties outlining their vision for July 29 general election.
In figures elections are encompassing: Twenty political parties that will contest in the forthcoming election, some 8.3 million people cast their ballots, and more than 65.000 national and international observers attending and closely monitoring the process, according to the National Election Committee (NEC).
