PORTFOLIO

A collection of work from UTS, 2023-2025.

Woolloomooloo High School + Residences

A mixed-use high school and social housing project with a focus on designing with Country. Beginning with deep research into natural and urban systems, the project implements adaptive re-use alongside new buildings and walkways, combining multiple structures and creating new links between the public domain and the site. Transformative landscaping, centred on the care and education of Country, is a central feature of the project.

Haberfield Wetlands

A speculative project in collaboration with a landscape architecture student. A response to colonial infrastructure and housing types, the project aims to both acknowledge and elevate natural systems over built heritage, while still allowing built heritage to co-exist with these systems. The project combines a macro landscape intervention of natural water management in the Haberfield area with a micro architectural intervention involving three Federation houses and their lots. The design responds to the re-introduction of a natural wetland and waterway system through the site by actively engaging with and using the water. Through adaptive re-use and infill of the houses, water is allowed to enter and sit within the structures, while liveable spaces are relocated to elevated rooms and pavilions throughout the site.
