WOODLAND WORK
Woodland Work is a co-working space in Highgate, London, for small groups or remote work. The architecture is all designed as community center with multi-use spaces. Located in the Highgate woods, Woodland Work provides the best natural experience among all the working space in London.
Both working space and public space follows the grid system, which allows free customization on the space. For the workspaces, people can choose from a series of presents or develop their favourite. By liquid-pressure floor system, the public multi-use space can also changed amoung serveral forms, including market, exhibition, and lectures. In addition, we develop a mobile application for better reserving and managing the working & public space

BIO 3 is designed as the new campus for ecological major of IIT. The architecture is not only designed as the student & staff apartment building, but also equired with high-level green houses and observatories. The design also concludes the grocery and cafe at the ground floor, which fulfills residences' everyday needs.
There are five types of units in total, from 400 sqft to 1600 sqft, to fulfil the need of different family types. A spiral stairs is design in these double layer units. Four signle units form one group and share a double layer collective space for multiple uses, party, meeting and other activities. On the corridor, a curved wall divide the it into two halves: one for circulation, while the other half forms several semi circular space independent space.

Circulation Strategy:
Programs of the project are connected by verticle circulation and horizontal corridors. Six verticle circulation cores locates at both wings and middle of the building, providing a maxium 90’ path to exit, which fulfill the NAAB requirements. Each circulation core is consisted of two 6’ by 8’ elevators, and a set of emergency stairs. Located at the ground floor of each circulation cores, exits connect the public circulation and provide a way out when fire happens. In addition, multiple entrances are designed for residents coming from different directions.

Ribbon center is a community gathering space which resides alongside the canel in Syracuse. To incorperate with the river, he building creates an organic form of curved roof.
Ribbon center is not only a space for social activities, but also for professional swimming facilities. People can enjoy the fantastic swimming pools at the lowest level of the building.

Zoom into the architecture, there are three levels of height, the ribbon language continues to fit the terrain of each level. Spaces between two curves forms the basic programs of the project.
When people comes to visit the Ribbon center, they will be dropped by car or bus at the pavilion. Further exploring into the building, visitors will reach the outdoor open space. People could also reach here by walking along the "curve".
A curved corridor is also on this level where people can have view of the canal and the courtyard. A central courtyard is located at this second layer. People can sit on the platform, enjoy beautiful views, and play with fish in the poun.
When people arrived at the lowest layer -- the river level, they will be surprised by the extraordinary facility for swimming. The changing room and other facilities are also located at this level. The natural pond of the second level becomes an aquarium now: people can even see the fish from the changing room.
