Season Summary

Whilst we have had a few quiet months, we hope you have all been enjoying yourselves at the club.

Our Gin and Jazz night was very well attended, bringing in over 100 members.

The Spirit of little Things were kind enough to host our Gin tasting; along with this went a sumptuous grazing table, chocolate and cheese fountains and roaming canapes for everyone to enjoy. I think it’s safe to say everyone went home with a full tummy!

Opening of the season was a huge success, attended by dignitaries from other clubs along with representation from the City of Joondalup.

Past and present committee were also in attendance, welcoming officially our new committee members. The weather was perfect for a Sail Past and the Commodores Cup.

After all the official proceedings the members started to flow in for an afternoon of entertainment which included a sausage sizzle, live music, face painting and our new addition of the Lady Bee Ice-cream van.

Welcoming the warmer weather

We are kicking off with one of our most popular events Bali By the sea 3.0, this event is always our most popular and has sold out again. Once again we are working very closely with the Bali Dewata Community to bring you everything you like and more, with the day centered around bringing our 2 communities together and celebrating the Balinese culture and way of life. The day will start from 12pm and will feature an array of Balinese Cuisine and loads of cocktails and bintangs to satisfy the taste buds. For entertainment, we will have 2 amazing DJs - DJ Karl to kick the day off, and DJ Selina to get the party pumping once the sun sets. DJ Selina has played & entertained all over the globe from the Playboy Mansion in LA to Australia & around Europe at the hottest day beach clubs. Throughout her career Selina has supported some of the biggest acts in music today including: Snoop Dog, Carly Rae Jepsen, The Veronicas, Havana Brown, Luciana, NENA, Cash Cash, Ice House only to name a few. We will also have special performances, bouncy castles for the kids and traditional Balinese market stalls and a special sunset surprise.

Moving into December, our annual Christmas Buffet is scheduled for the 16th December where Chef Paula will be cooking all of your favourite traditional Christmas dishes. Santa will also be coming to visit the club on the 18th December for the Kids Christmas Party - more details will follow for these events in the coming month.
