Dear neighborhood watch participant, Thank you for your interest and initiative in forming a Neighborhood Watch Group. A Neighborhood Watch Group is one of the finest examples of community policing, because of the partnership between the police department and the residents of the Town of Oro Valley. This important partnership can help reduce crime and increase communication within your community. All members are encouraged to be the eyes and ears of the police department and to report suspicious activity immediately. This program is designed for all members to have an active role in their own neighborhood.
