Inauguration of the Dubai Showroom Ornare now boasts nine showrooms in the international market

A trio of visionary entrepreneurs are at the core of this project: Carina Fontes, Maryam Khalifa Juma Alnabooda Alsuwaidi, and Shalise Yglesias Basso. The showroom is located at the Opus Tower and was designed by the Zaha Hadid architecture agency.

“Dubai is known for its economic prosperity and high market demand from customers looking for the best quality. It’s an audience that acknowledges this kind of value”, says Carina Fontes.

For Esther Schattan, consumers in Brazil and the world are now investing a lot more in their personal environments to enhance their comfort and aesthetics since they’re spending more time at home. In addition to the Dubai showroom, another eight are found in the US.

All fourteen showrooms in Brazil and the nine abroad provide customers with specialized, priority treatment. Ornare also offers exclusive, highly customizable collections, allowing demanding customers to take on highly sophisticated projects. By bringing together technology with unique designs, Ornate also helped customers develop their own experiences, providing new possibilities for 3D projects viewable video and virtual reality devices to allow customers and business partners to preview the project before working on it.

New York’s Positive Women A Meeting of Female Executives in NY - Women in leadership positions from Brazil and the US got together in New York to participate in lectures and discuss partnerships and business strategies at: "Ornare’s Positive Women - for women that are transforming our planet."

Brazilian businesswoman Fabi Saad, founder of the Mulheres Positivas (Positive Women) platform, participated in the meeting promoted as a partnership with Esther Schattan. Among the panelists were Anna Di Stasi, Latin American director of Sothebys, and diplomat Maria Nazareth Farani Azevedo, both residents of New York, along with Camila Santos.

Fabi Saad says that “This event provided us with panels and lectures by successful women who can inspire other women worldwide. We believe Mulheres Positivas can contribute towards establishing bridges to bring these businesswomen together, such as through other events that we have already organized or participated”.

Esther Schattan has been an entrepreneur and businesswoman for 36 years. After founding a company with her husband, Murillo Schattan, she formed a successful management model consolidated in Brazil, which has already expanded to the international market.

“We are always working towards supporting diversity; so much that 50% of Ornare’s employees are women. We are happy and immensely honored to be part of yet another edition of a project as relevant as this, contributing towards significant and highly positive paradigm shifts”, says Esther.

The project also uses the Mulheres Positivas application, created by businesswoman Fabiana Saad. The app acts as a digital platform for job opportunities, professional development and content that further empowers women. The app contains job offers from business partners at different hierarchical levels.

The latest version has just recently been launched with a more modern, innovative layout. In addition to improvements in usability and design, the platform brings engagement tools and a new tagging plan and settings. Other features include an administrative dashboard for companies, autonomous registration, job offers/courses offered by companies, user management and managerial reports and a dark mode as a user view option.

Six months after launch, the app already has 51 participating companies (including Ornare) and 720 offers published since its inception. Around 200 courses are available in the app, and three external platforms are currently in the rating configuration stage.

As for the development aspect, 66 women have already been mentored between August 2021 and March 2022, and over 83 are participating in training courses between November 2021 and May 2022.
