Geodesic Domes The geodesic dome design is very sturdy because it has the stability of the triangle shape as its building block. Triangles are strong because they don't distort when put under pressure. Learn how to make your own geodesic dome.

3D Print with TinkerCAD This class will get you up and printing your own custom gadgets with moving parts, using a free and simple design tool on the web. We're covering how to design stuff to print with minimum fuss, how to include non-plastic parts in your designs for strength and features, and how to actually use the 3D printer at the library to do the job. Each day of this course is designed to develop the core idea, starting from basic TinkerCAD, to 3D printing basics, to finally design tricks for improving printability.
