Taking a Mayr Prelab determines some of your test results before your arrival, so that the findings are available for your doctor to access during your initial medical examination. This allows your doctor to create an individual treatment plan for you right from the word go.

This fee covers all handling and the laboratory equipment as well as a 15-minute consultation with your cure doctor to review the results. This price remains the same whether you choose one or all of the following tests. Shipping costs will be calculated and added to the final bill.

Book your Mayr Prelab analysis before you arrive for your cure.

You will receive a package (lab kit) with a precise schedule, the necessary equipment and the shipping materials with address.

The blood sample is taken by your general practitioner, you can simply take the stool sample at home. You send the sample to our partner lab. Your test results will be sent directly to us.

Analysis of food intolerances

The food intolerance test is a blood test designed to detect possible late-type allergies and intolerances. So-called IgG-mediated reactions are measured, i.e. antibodies that are formed when certain foods are consumed too frequently or cannot be processed.

STOOL TEST URINE TEST

Microbiome analysis with intestinal health check

This stool test should be carried out 21 days before arrival - as part of the prelab, before the start of the cure. The stool sample is stored in the laboratory for 21 days and the growth of various bacterial families in the intestine is observed. Furthermore, the digestive performance, inflammatory processes and markers in the context of tumour prevention can be determined.

Neurotransmitter stress test

This test is a urine test to clarify certain symptoms in the context of stress reactions (acute or chronic stress). The levels of the acute stress hormones adrenaline and noradrenaline are tested, as well as amino acids that act as messengers (neurotransmitters) between nerve cells.

Analysis of minerals including coenzyme Q10, vitamin D, B6, B12, A, E and folic acid

This test can be used to detect mineral or vitamin deficiencies, which can lead to hair loss, tiredness and susceptibility to infections. Existing overdoses of various supplements can also be recognised and subsequent complaints diagnosed.

Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy

Thanks to our Mayr programme, your gastrointestinal system will be perfectly primed for these examinations. At Dr Alexander Todorof’s private clinic, gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures provide invaluable information that helps to explain any issues (reflux, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, etc.) and to detect diseases at an early stage. Tissue samples are taken and polyps removed where necessary. Many health issues can be addressed early, quickly and expertly.

FOCUS ON THE HEART:

Cardiac examinations

Take the opportunity to have your heart thoroughly examined at the private clinic of our consultant and cardiac specialist Dr Carl Kaulfersch. Cardiac examinations that include an echocardiogram, carotid ultrasound, stress test and resting ECG are carried out after a detailed discussion of your medical history. This helps to detect heart diseases early and to expertly address any issues.

RESERVATION AND DEPOSIT

Reservations are only final upon receipt of your deposit. We ask you for a deposit of 50% of the total price of your stay. With the payment of your deposit, you accept these terms and conditions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

For cancellations made 4 to 1 week before arrival, we will charge the full 50% deposit.

If you cancel up to 7 days before arrival or if you do not show up, the remaining 50% will be charged.

Refunds for early departure or late arrival are not possible. We charge 100% of the booked and confirmed services.

PRICES AND PAYMENT TERMS

The prices specified are per person and include all taxes and duties. At the end of your stay, the medical services and the hotel services are combined into a total invoice, which has to be paid on site at departure. Our medical office will be happy to provide you with an insurance invoice on request. Reimbursement depends on your respective insurance company. We accept all credit cards and EC (debit) cards.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Your hotel room is available from 2 pm on your day of arrival.

Please arrive by 5 pm. We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11 am on your day of departure. Late check-out is possible upon request and is charged at EUR 50 per room.

YOUNG GUESTS

We welcome young guests aged 15 and above.

SMOKING BAN

Please note: Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises.

PETS

Due to hygiene regulations, we are not able to accommodate pets in the building.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

We offer a paid transfer service to the train stations or airports.

Please let us know when making your reservation so we can advise costs.
