The Episcopal Address is given by one of the members of the College of Bishops at each Quadrennial meeting of the General Conference. This address was given on Saturday, June 25, 2022, by Bishop Teresa Jefferson-Snorton at the 40th Session and 39th Quadrennial of the General Conference of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. This was historic for two reasons, the second being predicated on the first. Bishop Jefferson-Snorton is the first female to be elected a bishop in our denomination, and this was the first such address by a female bishop in our denomination.
