First, I want to ask how your journey with makeup started, specifically cosplay makeup?

I’d like to start by expressing my gratitude for your invitation to this interview for your HAZZE media readers! For as long as I can recall, I’ve been active in the performing arts My makeup design skills developed when I began doing my own makeup for theater, vocal, and dance performances. Halloween was the true spark for pushing the envelope in visual creativity. For as long as I can remember, I’ve obsessed over my Halloween costumes months in advance I have developed detailed makeup characters every year; always trying to compete with my previous year's creation I’ll always be grateful that Halloween is my family’s favorite holiday! Shortly after starting on TikTok, I tried my first special effects makeup look Harley Quinn. To my disbelief at the time, that post went viral So with that encouragement under my belt, I continued creating characters and makeup looks that became some of my most popular videos

You have a verified account of over 9.8 million followers with over 300 million likes. What led you here? How and when did you get started on Tiktok? When the pandemic hit, I longed for an outlet to channel my creativity I had no experience with TikTok, and even attempted to avoid it when TikTok started gaining traction in 2019 I became so bored being stuck at home that I eventually gave in When I did, I was shocked to receive positive feedback on my very first post. I steadily gained followers, and over time, realized that TikTok was more than a pastime. TikTok represented a business opportunity to develop myself as a brand Since then, I’ve built my following by experimenting with a variety of posts including cosplays, special effects makeup, acting, dancing, makeup tutorials, and mental health and lifestyle content!

The special effects makeup look that took me the longest was my Pop Art character There have been a few others like my blue tiger that took many hours to complete From start to taping to makeup removal, my Pop Art character took just over eight hours

What was it like collaborating on a campaign with Dolls Kill? I really enjoyed working with the team at Dolls Kill. The team had a lot of energy and creativity to feed off of I will always support the empowerment of all different people, shapes, styles, and outlets for self expression

That’s a tough question Harley Quinn is the character that receives the most feedback and requests and I enjoy honoring one of my favorite actors, Margot Robbie However, without a doubt, I had the most fun cosplaying one of my favorite villains Maleficent. Her alluring blend of elegance, deviousness, and pure evil is something that’s impossible not to love

What has been your personal favorite cosplay look so far?

What look takes the longest?

Alphonse de Lamartine I was incredibly fortunate to attend several schools in Denver with very strong arts programs. These programs not only taught me how to survive in a competitive environment but also how my drive and art can thrive within chaos.

When I was around 13, I enrolled in a film/TV acting workshop in Denver, where I was lucky enough to be signed by an LA-based talent manager and an agent. I’m proud of my work on social media but there’s no question that my big goal is still in the realm of film/TV acting.

Your talents clearly aren’t limited to makeup you also act, dance, and sing. Tell me about how you got started with acting specifically.

As I mentioned, I have been active in all the performing arts acting, dancing, singing from a young age. I started as a competitive athlete (soccer) before transitioning my focus into becoming a triple-threat as a performer. One thing is for sure, I’ll always be highly competitive in any of my pursuits. I find that I strive to better old versions of myself much more than I compete with my peers. Bringing people along with me will always enhance my opportunities and success. For some reason, I’ve never felt nervous on stage. My undying love for music and its capacity to move people fueled my passion further. Music is the universal language of humanity. One of my favorite quotes is: “Music is the literature of the heart; it commences where speech ends.”

How has your personal style evolved since gaining such a large following on social media? I feel like my personal style is still evolving and will continue to evolve Halloween’s influence takes me into dark, almost gothic looks But what I love most about style is that it is ever changing. So much of my style is tied to my mood whether that be romantic, passionate, gloomy, etc. I must admit I’ll forever be a sucker for dressing for more formal occasions. I practically light up like a Christmas tree when an event permits me to dress as elegantly as possible I love feeling as if I’m a Bond Girl!

Who is your personal favorite makeup artist, if you had to choose one? As far as film and special effects makeup artists go, my most recent favorite is Bill Corso Among his accomplishments, he has received acclaim for his SFX work in creating Vecna in the Netflix series Stranger Things His work is nothing short of mind bending.

What is one goal you have in your career at the moment? I have a lot of dreams and goals I want to accomplish during my career I plan to have my own makeup line someday, get more into songwriting and my own music, and pursue my first love of film acting That’s only the beginning of what I plan to accomplish I recognize no one is going to hand me success on a silver platter, so I’ll continue to work hard every day toward achieving each and every one of my dreams. Thanks!
