Sandra Babb is an Assistant Professor of Choral Music Education and Conductor of Bella Voce at Oregon State University A native of Tampa, Florida, Dr Babb taught middle and high school choir and general music in the public schools of central Florida for ten years She received her Bachelor of Music Education, Master of Music Education, and PhD in Music Education from the Florida State University, where she studied with Dr. Judy Bowers and Dr. André Thomas. Prior to her appointment at OSU, she taught at Queens College, CUNY.
Dr Babb teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in choral music education at Oregon State, and she is committed to providing her students with the experiences that they need to succeed in the classroom Actively seeking out partnerships with schools and within the community, Dr. Babb supervises practicum and student teaching with cooperating teachers, and she directs the OSU Choir Camp each summer
Dr Babb is currently serving on the Steering Committee for the National ACDA as the Honor Choir Coordinator. She is also the R & R Chair for Women’s Choirs for Oregon ACDA, and she has served as Student and Youth Activities Chair for New York ACDA . Dr. Babb is the SMTE Area Chair for the Oregon Music Education Association and the faculty advisor for the Oregon State University Collegiate Chapter of NAfME
Dr Babb is an active conductor, clinician, and adjudicator, frequently engaging in guest conducting opportunities throughout the United States, and she has presented at state, regional, and national conferences of ACDA and NAfME . Sandra Babb has published articles in music education journals, and she is a contributing author for various choral textbook series . Her choral ensembles have performed for the Florida, New York, and Southern Division conferences of the American Choral Directors Association, and OSU Bella Voce recently performed for the 2017 Oregon Music Education Association State Conference .
Mary Brandenstein, MS Tenor Co-Manager

Mary Brandenstein moved to Portland, Oregon from Chicago, Illinois to pursue her career in music education She currently serves as the full-time choral director at Houck Middle School, in the Salem-Keizer school district Over the past three years, Mary has grown the program from two to five performing ensembles, with over 210 enthusiastic singers . Mary is also involved with the Oregon Bach Festival, where she has served as the assistant to the director of education and operations for the past two years She is proud to be an alumna of Millikin University, where she received her BM in Vocal Music Education
Zach Schwalbach, MS Tenor Co-Manager
Zach Schwalbach is the Director of Choirs at Lake Oswego High School There, he has the privilege of working with five curricular choirs and teaching music theory. Prior appointments include Director of Choirs at the Norwood School in Bethesda, Maryland, Assistant Director of Choirs at River Falls High School in River Falls, WI, and Assistant Director of Choirs at Appleton North High School in Appleton, WI He received his BM in Vocal Music Education from St Olaf College, where he studied with Anton Armstrong and Christopher Aspaas
