Examples include trade restrictions such as tariffs and import quotas, industrial policies such as subsidies and tax deductions, price controls, multiple exchange rate practices and foreign exchange allocation schemes, and government–controlled provision of credit. Some rents may arise in the absence of government intervention, as in the case of natural resources, such as oil, whose supply is limited by nature and whose extraction cost is far lower than its market price. As someone that worked in corrections for 16–years, I have seen corruption events at both the state level and at the local county level in correctional settings. I there are two common forms of corruptions that I have seen correctional officers walked out and arrested for having sexual relations with offenders or bringing in contraband to offenders. These unethical actions by correctional staff are ones that break the trust with not only the offenders and staff but also the community that the staff has sworn by oath to serve and protect. Political corruption has existed throughout the ages. It believed to be most prominent in positions of power, because of the role money plays in getting people power. However, over the centuries, corruption has changed so much so as to not match a particular definition of corruption, perpetually growing deceptively harder to find (Ebbe).

Eventually, people grow dependent on this corruption as a means for income, thus forming a symbiosis between the people who benefit from it, and the elites that regulate it. People sometimes ignore the corruption surrounding them, feeling that as long as the politicians do their jobs well, their 'extra salary' can't hurt (BNS).

Generally after revolutions take place, anarchy exists. No new government simply moves into place. During this time, it is easiest for Corruption to take hold of this Government as it forms, limiting or halting the true development of a government for the people. In an environment infested with corruption, any acts of corruption simply become commonplace. Where anarchy exists, people lack the power of representation. If there is a government in which corruption exists, people lack a voice with which to take action. A government is necessary for the growth of people and nations as a whole. Some ill hearted people use corruption to achieve the highest place in society. Even in the 1600's Shakespeare writes about how corruption can shape a society. Corruption can cause an unbalance of power in the wrong places. Geoffrey Chaucer writes about certain classes in the fourteenth century. Chaucer uses the upper class inCanterbury Tales to show the importance of corruption through the following characters: The Friar, the Pardoner, and the Summoner.

With the concept of our declining language, we must discuss the effects, which cannot be simply blamed on one source. The language keeps declining as a result of the new generations forming words to fit their ideas. So the language is in perpetual criticism as it evolves to communicate the feelings and ideas of a the younger generation.

Therefore, this inevitable "failure" shall lead to frustration and anger at ourselves though we have done nothing wrong.
