ABOUT THE AUTHOR.

The person who compiled the zine is Orazio Piro as they are a fan of the vita carnis series. However they didnt make the series they just injoy it. Some of the Baiscs of the series is coverd here but its a FAN-MADE thing. If you like what you see/read I highly sugest going over to the original work.

This is Darain Quilloy the creator of vita carnis. They are the brain child of this wonderful world and make the original series.

THe CrAWL

The crawl is an intestine looking specimen.They grow like vines yet have veins and arteries. The Craw can grow in nearly every place due to its advanced form of photosynthesis and water as its main source of food. Due to their unique life cycle that when dead becomes a rich nutrient filled compost all of nature is improved. All of the Vita Carnis seemingly originates from the crawl.

TRiMmiNGs

Trimmings start their life as a fleshy bud on the crawl. Their appearance is like that of a meat racoon. With their round head, small eyes, ear and nose holes, and agape mouth they are prime for eating waste. Their prime food source is rotting food and meat. This includes Fruits, Vegetables, Roots, Seeds, Insects, Dead animals. No two trimmings are the same with differing numbers of legs and appendages. They are no larger than a basketball. Along with this they have no defensive traits and their cowardly nature, they sit near the bottom of the food chain. Trimmings can be found wherever there is abundant crawl. Their maximum life span is 2 to 4 years. The trimmings are considered pests. Still some people keep them as pets.

MEAT SNAKE

Where there is death

there are meat smakes.

Meat Snakes are a harmles corpse eating creature. Depending on the ammount of caracases eaten the meat snake will vary in size. On average it will reach an average lenght of 5m(16ft). But in places with many dead people like wars or plagues they can grow to abnormal size. It locates via tonge with sensors like a snake. When eating a carcas the meat snake releases a chemical breaking down soft tissue and adds the bones and magority of meat into its body. The meat snake each has it own skull baised on what it eats. The meat snake is also the only member of the vita carnis to reporduce, it dose this via mitosis. it also has no preditors.

THE MIMIC

The Mimic is a human like member of the vita carnis. It is extreamly dangerous as its diet consists of only humans. The have non human like features such as Extended Fingers, Longer limbs, and Buldging eyes. When a mimic eats many people it will evolve. It is found solely in populated areas. Mimics stalk there prey wating for it to fall assleep before swiftly killing them. An evolved mimic instead of a dark red fleshy color instead is a maroon or deep blue. it will be bigger and it human features will be taken away. It develops thick skin which will be stronger the more humans it eats. It will try to hide in the dark to sneak up on you. Mimics are crafty they will try to trick you or wear you out.

THE HARVESTER

The Harvester is a large bulbus mass about 2m by 3m. The tendrels that it has can go up to 150m horisontaly. The Harvest grows unlike the others as it consumes the crawl for energy. Its tendrals have spines with venom that cause paralysis along with this it ingects a toxin preventing blood cells from clotting a wound. When a large animal moves across the tendreal will clamp and thrash violently. when the prey is dead from blood loss it will be dragged undergound as fertilizer for the harvester and nearby plants.

THE HOST

A semi-humanoid creature with a head arms and torso. I instead of legs has tisue the burows into the grown to keep it in place. The host has no face and is instead a smooth surface. I has porkupine like structuers that extend outward. These spines shoot out spores produced by the host. They are rare luckily as they can only be found in north america. The sporces when infecting a person take over there brain a couple hours after infection the organisim will being to walk to the host. When they get to the host they will kneel down and be guted by the host. Then consumed.

The monoliths are a recent creture showing up June 1972 in the area of __________ There are only 7 monoliths all of them in a circular position 1.5km in diamiters, they surround _____. Its a titanic sized being being 120meters in hight each monolith has two trunk legs firmly imbeded in the ground. it is composted of meaty strands tightly woven together. The head is a meaty triangle wiht a hole in its center. they have long rope like apendages. They dont do anything. But for some reason it is known that they can produce emp blasts.

THE MONOLITHS THE SINGULARITY

Not much is known about the Singularity we dont know if its real as the thing has only 1 recoreded photo in existance and is not know anywhere else.

The Crawl was an intresting concept, as well as the organisms that are produced by it. Trimmings are cute, and I would own one. The Mimics were horrifying and creepy, and the Singularity look delicious. Would eat. Crawl also looks tasty.

Tried to kiss a mimic 2020-2023

The production of the ARG as a whole was impressive for a home project. I enjoyed the originality of the concepts, such as the non-threatening Trimmings and the flavor-enhancer. The zine editor had to haggle me a bit to watch it, but I’m glad I did. The practical special effects and audio were genuinley terrifying. I think some of the presentation needs polishing, but other than that it’s an awesome series, and I can’t wait to see more. I could really go for some cheesy crawl penne, anything’s better than school lunch.
