with Jeff Jones, Sub-Zero and Wolf
Jeff Jones came to Sub-Zero and Wolf with an Aeronautical Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin and started in the Reliability/Quality engineering group based in Madison, WI. Since then, he’s slowly moved from engineering to technical service management and in June of this year, relocated to Orange County to focus on learning about Southern California, one of the company’s largest markets. “I have been incredibly lucky to find a company that provides a great environment for both its customers and employees. I am always so grateful that Sub-Zero and Wolf has worked so closely with me to utilize my skills and background to form a near perfect role.” Q. How does Sub-Zero and Wolf help make life more convenient? A. Our products focus on food preservation and giving customers the best opportunity to prepare great food. With Sub-Zero refrigeration, your food will stray fresher, longer. That means, less waste, less time at the grocery store and better tasting food. This provides more opportunity to spend time with family, healthier meals, and less eating out. For me that means compliments on the food from my family and friends. I’m a sucker for compliments. Q. What new products are in the pipeline? A. COVE! Our engineers are excited to release the only dishwasher that is designed and manufactured in Madison, WI, like all other Sub-Zero and Wolf products. That means the highest quality, best-in-class, best performing dishwasher on the market. We are very excited for this to be released to customers in 2018. We will have it in the showroom shortly before consumer availability. Q. What’s the best thing about the Sub-Zero and Wolf showroom in Costa Mesa? A. The showroom is a commitment-free place to see the best appliance brands in action. We are not a selling showroom; our customers and potential customers can use the showroom as a resource. If they are only browsing, our consultants will give them all the information they need and summarize it for them quickly without the drive to buy anything. We will work with them throughout their design process, whether they are two weeks or two years away from installation. Aside from the stress-free environment, the showroom has beautifully designed kitchens for inspiration and provides an opportunity to learn more about the brands through our demonstrations with our corporate chef. Live demos available in the showroom also provide a hands-on experience for our customers. Q. What is the most important feature when choosing an appliance? A. At the showroom, we like to understand each customer’s individual situation before making recommendations. How big is your family? What do you like to cook? How much space is available in your new kitchen? And most importantly, what are you most excited about in your new kitchen? These are guidelines for understanding the customer and not persuading them to select something that they might later regret. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority.
