Beyond the Desk is a clear illustration of our commitment to highly skilled upholstery, robust yet ethical material selection and uncompromising production values. This has delivered a home-like lightness to its architecture coupled with the necessary at-work functionality.

As light on its feet as possible. Reducing the carbon embedded in Beyond the Desk’s manufacture is paramount to Orangebox. 95% of Beyond the Desk’s material suppliers are based in the UK and over 50% of those within 10 miles of the factory. The cushions are carefully moulded to encapsulate the seat frame making the initial build process more sustainable and far easier to remanufacture. The seat frame and privacy screens are constructed using FSC certified wood.

Due to its light-touch installation process, Beyond the Desk allows its collection to be assembled, disassembled, and then reconfigured, all whilst on-location.
