CONGRATULATIONS! ON YOUR RECENT PURCHASE OF AN OPUS ELECTRIC BIKE! Since day one, OPUS has been an integral part of a collective movement that brings people together from all rides of life. With the PENDIX motor, your OPUS electric bike does not look like an ordinary ebike, and does not feel like one either. It’s an electric bike with the most natural pedaling feeling in the world. It is simple and intuitive to use. The PENDIX motor is a completely new experience; you’ll see, you will want to ride with it as much as possible. Enjoy your new electric bicycle!
CONNECTING / REMOVING THE BATTERY
MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IS FIRMLY ATTACHED BEFORE RIDING.
REMOVE BATTERY PRIOR TO TRANSPORT AND STORE SEPARATELY.

CONNECTING To position in the holder, align the battery with the 3 mounting lugs. Push the battery down and turn clockwise. There should be a clicking sound and the LED display should light up.
REMOVING To remove the battery, turn it counter clockwise and lift it from the holder.
POWERING THE MOTOR ON /OFF
ON The motor is activated by pushing the ON/OFF button. The LED display will show a continuous light with the color of the current charge level. Push the ON /OFF button twice if the battery is in its deep sleep state.
OFF Push the ON / OFF button. The LED display will turn off.
SETTING THE SUPPORT MODE
Set the support mode by rotating the switch on the top of the battery. Choose one of the three modes by aligning it with the straight bar of the “POWER” icon.
ECO
Maximum range cycling // 75% support level.
SMART
All around cycling // 150% support level.
SPORT
High power cycling // 200% support level.

If the LED display is red, the battery is almost empty and should be charged.
CONNECTING / REMOVING FROM CHARGING DOCK
PRESCRIBED OPERATING TEMPS ARE BETWEEN -10°C / +50°C (14°F / 122°F).
DO NOT CHARGE A COLD BATTERY; ALLOW IT TO HEAT BACK UP FIRST.
CONNECTING To install the battery on the dock, align the dots from both of the items and the magnetic plug will attract it to the charging station. The LED display will pulse and show the current charge level.
REMOVING The LED display will turn off when the battery is fully charged. Simply lift the battery from the dock to remove it.

BRIGHTNESS OF THE LED DISPLAY While not operating the bicycle, select the ECO mode. Push and hold the ON/OFF button down for 4 seconds. Release the button when the desired brightness level is shown.

FLASHLIGHT MODE To use as a light source when not installed on the bicycle, select the SPORT mode. Push and hold the ON/OFF button down for 4 seconds. Press it again to turn off.
SAFETY U-BOLT LOCK If you do not wish to remove the battery while locking your OPUS bicycle, leave it in its connected state (turn it OFF). Pull out the U-bolt situated at the bottom of the battery and pass a suitable bicycle lock through it and the bicycle frame. This will secure the battery with your bicycle.

INSÉRER / RETIRER LA BATTERIE
ASSUREZ-VOUS QUE LA BATTERIE SOIT FIXÉE ADÉQUATEMENT AVANT DE COMMENCER À ROULER.
RETIREZ LA BATTERIE DE SON SUPPORT AVANT LE TRANSPORT ET RANGEZ-LA SÉPARÉMENT.
CLIC!
INSÉRER Pour insérer dans le support, alignez la batterie à l’aide des trois goujons, puis glisser-la vers le bas et tournez-la dans le sens horaire. Vous entendrez un déclic et le témoin LED devrait s’allumer.
RETIRER Pour retirer, tourner la batterie dans le sens anti-horaire et soulevez-la du support en la glissant vers le haut.
DÉMARRER / ÉTEINDRE LE MOTEUR
MARCHE Le moteur est activé lorsque vous appuyer sur la touche ON / OFF. Le témoin LED affichera une lumière continue indiquant le niveau de charge de la batterie. Lorsque la batterie se trouve en mode veille, appuyez deux fois sur la touche ON/OFF pour l’activer.
ARRÊT Appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF. L’affichage LED s’éteindra.
RÉGLAGE DU MODE D’ASSISTANCE
Réglez le mode d’assistance en tournant l’interrupteur situé au-dessus de la batterie. Sélectionnez l’un des trois modes en l’alignant avec le barre droite de l’icône de la touche ON/OFF.

Cyclisme longue distance // degré d’assistance 75%.
SMART
Cyclisme polyvalent // degré d’assistance 150%.
SPORT
Cyclisme performance // degré d’assistance 200%.

Un témoin de charge LED rouge indique un niveau de charge de batterie faible. Une recharge s’avère alors nécessaire.
INSÉRER / RETIRER LA BATTERIE DE LA STATION DE CHARGEMENT
TEMPÉRATURES RECOMMANDÉES POUR CHARGER LA BATTERIE: ENTRE -10°C / +50°C (14°F / 122°F).
NE JAMAIS RECHARGER UNE BATTERIE FROIDE; LAISSEZ-LA SE RÉCHAUFFER AVANT DE PROCÉDER.
INSÉRER Pour insérer la batterie dans la station de recharge, alignez les points des deux items afin que la prise magnétique attire la batterie au chargeur. Le témoin LED s’allumera et affichera l’état de charge actuel.
RETIRER L’afficheur LED s’éteindra lorsque la batterie sera complètement rechargée. Pour la retirer, simplement soulever de la station.
CARACTÉRISTIQUES ADDITIONNELLES

LUMINOSITÉ DE L’AFFICHAGE LED Lorsque vous n’utilisez pas votre vélo, sélectionnez le mode ECO. Appuyez et maintenez la touche ON/OFF vers le bas pendant 4 secondes. Relâchez pour choisir l’intensité désirée.
4 SECONDES
MODE LAMPE DE POCHE Lorsqu’elle n’est pas installée, utilisez la batterie comme source d’éclairage en sélectionnant le mode SPORT. Appuyez et maintenez la touche ON/OFF vers le bas pendant 4 secondes. Appuyer de nouveau pour éteindre.
VERROUILLAGE DE SURETÉ EN “U”. Si vous ne souhaitez pas retirer la batterie lorsque vous vérouillez votre vélo OPUS, laissez la connectée en prenant soin de la désactiver. Tirez sur le boulon en “U” situé au bas de la batterie et faites passer votre système antivol à travers le boulon et le cadre de votre vélo. La batterie sera barrée à votre vélo.
