30+ DROPS A DAY TO PROTECT & PRESERVE YOUR WELL-BEING

HIGH PERFORMANCE FUNCTIONAL FOOD THAT PROTECTS AGAINST FREE-RADICALS

The Experience Age is upon us. Over the past two decades, due to the climate, food processing and pollution from chemicals and radiation, our health is deteriorating. Free radicals from pollution, UV exposure, pesticides and other sources can damage our DNA. Free radicals are molecules that are missing an electron. They will steal an electron from a healthy cell. While our body has defences, over time, it can become overwhelmed and damage to the cells can occur, leading to oxidative stress. It is this continual damage that can open the doors for serious issues. Our diet plays a significant role in protecting us from free radicals.

Oxidative stress can trigger an inflammatory response in the body. Acute inflammation is a natural and beneficial immune system response to injury or infection and is part of the healing process. Continuous exposure to free radicals can lead to chronic inflammation, which can produce more free radicals. Chronic inflammation is the root cause for many health issues. This can cause an increase in serum LDL’s while lowering HDL’s. This leads to the buildup of plaque and eventually cardiovascular disease. It also is responsible for insulin resistance which increases the risk factors in the development of type 2 diabetes. For others, chronic inflammation is a primary risk factor for cancer. Beyond the discomfort of chronic inflammation, this state is the gateway to many health issues. Reducing chronic inflammation reduces the risk factors.

For years, lignans from our food have served us to protect our bodies from this potential harm. Lignans are naturally present in a variety of plant-based foods. Among the well-known sources are flaxseed. Additionally, sesame seeds, whole grains like wheat and oats, and legumes also contain lignans. Berries, certain vegetables and fruits are also sources of lignans. Unfortunately, over-processing has eliminated much of this from our diets. Lignans are an important factor to help our body defend itself from free radical damage. As well, studies show that lignan-poor diets leads to serious health concerns that can include cardiovascular disease, diabetes, mental health problems, arthritis and liver issues. We need to embrace the challenges and augment our lignan-poor food sources with a supplement that boosts their ability to protect us from free radicals that can cause so many potential issues in our well-being.

Fountain of Life (FOL) accesses the power of the spectrum of lignans from the Norwegian Spruce Tree. Its incredible protective properties serves to supplement our nutrient poor, refined foods.

What are Lignans? Lignans are plant nutrients that neutralize the impact of free radicals on our bodies. Free radical activity that leads to oxidative stress, the gateway to many significant health issues, can be neutralized with dietary lignans. As free radicals are molecules missing an electron, lignans have the unique property of being able to loan an electron without themselves becoming a free radical. The danger of free radical activity can lead to oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is the gateway to many serious disease states, but the development of severe health issues can be mitigated with dietary lignans.

The Lignans in Fountain of Life vs Flaxseed Fountain of Life contains the lignans from the Norwegian Spruce tree. It metabolizes in the same manner as flax and sesame seed, as they convert to enterolactone in the body so that they may be utilized. The body must cleave the chemical bonds in the lignan found in flaxseed, secoisolariciresinol diglucoside (SDG), so it can be absorbed. Once absorbed in the small intestine, it is converted to enterodiol, a human lignan. Enterodiol eventually becomes enterolactone, the most potent form of an enterolignan. Flaxseed is not an efficient lignan source, as uncleaved flaxseed is discarded and any that is absorbed needs further conversion. The primary lignan in Fountain of Life is 7-HMR that converts directly to enterlactone, being absorbed readily.

The Power of Enterolactone Enterolactone, a significant antioxidant produced within the intestinal tract through the transformation of 7-hydroxymatairesinol (7-HMR), boasting valuable anticancer and antimetastatic attributes. 7-HMR is the primary lignan in Fountain of Life, this compound plays a crucial role in neutralizing detrimental free radicals and regulating estrogen metabolism. Its association with a decreased risk of cardiovascular ailments and potential protective effects against specific cancers underscore its importance. Additionally, it might contribute to improved bone density and positively influence gut microbiota, highlighting its multifaceted potential in promoting overall health. The lignans in Fountain of Life quickly converted in the plasma of our blood or through the intestinal flora to form enterolactone. This conversion is important as this allows our body to utilize Fountain of Life to neutralize the overwhelming free radicals that can open the door to many health challenges.

Studies show the power of enterolactone, benefiting those who have included dietary lignans in their routine, lowering the impact of uncontrolled cell growth over time. ANTICANCER AND ANTIMETASTATIC POTENTIAL OF ENTEROLACTONE: CLINICAL, PRECLINICAL AND MECHANISTIC PERSPECTIVES “ the in-vitro human cell culture studies provide strong evidence of the anticancer and antimetastatic mechanisms of EL in several cancers. This comprehensive review supports an idea of projecting EL as a promising candidate for developing anticancer drugs or adjunct dietary supplements and nutraceuticals.” Eur J Pharmacol. 2019 Jun 5;852:107-124. doi: 10.1016/j.ejphar.2019.02.022. This means that research is verifying the importance of enterolactone and that adjunct supplements in our diets are being reviewed along with the incorporation of enterolactone in anticancer therapy.

Fountain of Life is your best source to create enterolactone as this lignan is in aglycone form that is readily absorbed in the body and converted efficiently to enterolactone.

Balances Gut-Brain Axis The bidirectional communication network that connects our enteric and central nervous systems is known as the gut brain axis. This extends to our endocrine, humoral, metabolic and immune systems. Researchers have shown over the past decade that the gut microbiota regulates our brain processes and behaviours. Dietary modulation can impact our neuronal, immune and metabolic pathways. Researchers have indicated that mood swings, irritability, fatigue, depression-related symptoms and others are connected to the nutrients and variety of foods we consume. Our gut is the home for both good and bad bacteria. Increasing the diversity of good bacteria impacts the ability of bad bacteria to affect our system, supporting our immune system, prevents inflammation and balances hormone levels while improving our ability to better digest food. According to the study published in the International Journal of Food Science and Nutrition in 2021, Dr Matie van der Merwe concluded that “An increase in polyphenols, oligosaccharides and fibre, which are all components found in a fruit and vegetable-rich diet, have long been associated with decreased risk of chronic diseases.” It is important that we eat a wide variety of foods helps nourish the brain and the body. Our most abundant, high-quality source of polyphenol lignans is Fountain of Life, with 7-hydroxymatairesinol as it major lignan. Quickly converting to enterolactone in the human body, it supports our overall well-being and balancing our gut brain axis that extends to our many systems.

The general rule is to add 1 drop per every 10 kg (22 lb) of body weight. For the average adult user of Fountain of Life, 10 drops a day is all you need to protect and preserve your well-being. It serves to support your body as it strives to ward off the impact of overwhelming free radicals from pollution, pesticides, UV radiation and other sources. However, adjust your intake accordingly to maximize the benefits of a high lignan diet. Fountain of Life is nature’s best source for plant lignans that are converted to powerful human enterolignans that lower oxidative stress. However, enterolignans in the human body have a half-life of about 5-6 hours. This means that at its peak level in the body, the effective concentration is halved during this time frame. To maintain strong enterolignan levels, it is best to consume Fountain of Life three times a day – the morning, at noon and in the evening.

However, if that is not possible, taking Fountain of Life once each day at the same time will help our enterolignan levels, ensuring that our body has the right nutrient level to lower oxidative stress in our body.

Sustainability of Fountain of Life No trees have been harmed in the making of Fountain of Life. The pulp and paper industry only uses some parts of the Norwegian Spruce. They remove the dark stem knotwood during the preparation phase. This material is collected and shipped to our extraction facility, where the extract is created through a patented production process. The Norwegian Spruce Tree extract in Fountain of Life is considered an up-cycled ingredient since it’s a byproduct of the timber industry. According to the Finnish newsroom Metsateollisuus, “About 80% of domestic wood utilized by the forest industry comes from private forest owners. The average size of the forest holding is 30 hectares and the number of forest owners is approximately 620,000.” They go on to state “Sustainable forest management in Finland concentrates on finding a balance between economic, social and environmental aspects. These are also the basic pillars for the two forest certification schemes PEFC and FSC that are actively used in Finland.” Sustainably managed forests enable diverse ecosystem services regionally and nationally, and this also includes climate benefits. Wood is Finland’s most important renewable resource.”
