5 Thabeik silver bowl, Burma (Myanmar), colonial time, 19th century This smaller high quality bowl in special rare style comes probably from Dawei, Mon State, in southern Myanmar near the border to Thailand. Separated into roundels by polished line work 6 animals are depicted very detailed. A masterpiece, slightly worn (small dents on the bottom) with smooth surface. Above the flower mark the inscription on the bottom of the base reads: “Ma Aya Nyunt”, mostlikely the previous owner of the bowl. weight:
