L’Azienda Fondata alla fine degli anni 50, Umani Ronchi si distingue come grande interprete di Verdicchio e Rosso Conero, i vini più rappresentativi della regione Marche. Massimo Bernetti con il figlio Michele, produce vini apprezzati in tutto il mondo, puntando ad un prodotto di alta qualità attraverso un serio lavoro di sperimentazione agronomica, cura del vigneto e adozione delle più evolute tecniche di coltivazione e di vinificazione. La proprietà vitata conta 210 ha: 10 appezzamenti con caratteristiche uniche, nel rispetto e nella valorizzazione del terroir e di vitigni autoctoni di Marche e Abruzzo.
Cúmaro è uno dei vini più importanti della Umani Ronchi. Prodotto dal 1985 è annoverabile tra i capostipiti dei vini di pregio dell’area del Conero, in una piccola zona fortemente calcarea, prossima al mare Adriatico, dove si ottengono Montepulciano di grande finezza. Al naso ha tipiche note varietali che richiamano la prugna e la marasca, coerenti con una bocca avvolgente, con tannini ben levigati. Affina in barrique di rovere da 225 lt. per 12-14 mesi e riposa in bottiglia per altri 6-8 mesi.

the wine Cúmaro, produced from vintage 1985, is one of the most important wines in the story of Umani Ronchi and can be numbered among the founder members of the family of fine wines from the Conero area: a limited calcareous area, next to the Adriatic sea. Bouquet with typical varietal notes which recall ripe plum and morello fruit; warm and soft in the mouth with well-smoothed tannins. Aged in 225 litre oak barriques for 12-14 months first and then for further 6-8 months in bottle before release.

the estate Since the beginning of its history at the end of 1950s, Umani Ronchi has distinguished itself as a great interpreter of two of the most typical wines of the Marche region, Verdicchio and Rosso Conero. Massimo Bernetti and his son Michele have created wines which are appreciated throughout the world, following the imperatives of top quality, experimental agronomy, vineyard care, and adoption of the most advanced techniques of wine making. Currently, the Company’s vineyards cover an area of 210 hectares, distributed over 10 distinct plots, respecting and making the most of the terroir and indigenous vines of the Marche and Abruzzo.
