La Fundación CIEC, Centro Internacional de la Estampa Contemporánea, tiene como objetivo fundacional el apoyo y difusión del Arte Gráfico y sus creadores. Para la consecución de este fin se organizan: exposiciones temporales, publicaciones, cursos monográficos, un Master de Obra Gráfica, visitas guiadas a su Colección Permanente, cursos de verano… actividades que se complementan con charlas, talleres libres, talleres experimentales, conciertos, intercambios y encuentros.
The main objective of the CIEC Foundation (International Center for Contemporary Engraving) is the support and promotion of graphic art and its creators. To that end, the CIEC Foundation organizes exhibits, monographic courses, publications, a Graphic Art Master degree, guided visits to its permanent collection, summer courses, etc. These activities are complemented with discussions, free and experimental workshops, concerts and meetings.
La Fundación cuenta con un amplio programa de becas dirigido a los alumnos de talleres así como un departamento didáctico que facilita a los escolares su primer encuentro con la gráfica.
The Foundation has an extensive scholarship program for students attedning the workshops and a didactic department that helps students in their first time with graphic art.
Artistas, profesores y alumnos encuentran un espacio de trabajo e intercambio donde poder desarrollar sus experiencias artísticas. Por otro lado, la posibilidad que brinda la visita de recorrer tanto la colección como el taller, permite al público entrar en contacto directo no sólo con la obra si no también con los artistas y su forma de abordar la gráfica.
Artists, professors and students find the Foundation a place of work and exchange where they can develop their artistic experiences. On the other hand, the possibility of visiting both the collection and the workshop allows the public to meet first hand not only the work, but the artists and their approach to graphic art.
