Iconic Luxury
Parisian elegance got a Sonoran influence at the new destination of Hermès. The French brand made its first foray into Arizona when it recently opened a location at Scottsdale Fashion Square.
The architect of the space was Parisian agency RDAI, who blended the heritage of the brand with elements that reflect Arizona’s desertscape, with a natural and whimsical interpretation of the local flora. The design draws on tonal pastels, shimmering metallic detailing, and organic elements to create a soothing, welcoming, two-story luxurious space that showcases a selection of the company’s leather goods, jewelry, footwear, ready-to-wear, home, and equestrian creations. 7014 E. Camelback Road, Scottsdale; hermes.com
RELAXED GLAMOUR
Iconic restaurateur and local resident Sam Fox—he’s known for Flower Child, The Henry, Blanco, and many more popular dining concepts—recently debuted Society Swan at Scottsdale Fashion Square. Bridging East Coast poise with Parisian charm, this two-level American brasserie offers a spirited take on everyday dining where elegance, mischief, and mood converge. Inspired by New York City’s Swans of the 1960s and 1970s—iconic socialites who defined an era— and by Paris’ Swan Island, where a replica of the Statue of Liberty
stands beneath the Eiffel Tower, Society Swan celebrates the enduring connection between American and French traditions.
The menu offers creations spanning sushi, a raw bar, and salads to filet mignon, the Spicy Rigatoni, and Chicken Francese. A Frites section pairs fries with everything from Wagyu steak to fish and chips.
Classic and contemporary cocktails make up the bar menu, and a $10 happy hour martini menu is the perfect excuse to raise a glass.

Relocated to Scottsdale in 2024, the restaurant now features a tree-lined patio and interiors that glow with contemporary sophistication. Choose from three prix fixe menus, each a progression of dishes that spotlight foie gras, caviar, wagyu, and truffles in imaginative ways. Optional pairings of wine and cocktails elevate each bite, redefining fine dining as an experience of longing fulfilled. 7007 E. 1st Ave., Scottsdale; anhelorestaurant.com

A JOURNEY INTO THE SUBCONSCIOUS: SURREALIST VISIONS AT AMERICAN FINE ART
This rare exhibition opens Dec. 11 at American Fine Art and features original works by some of the greatest visionaries of the 20th century: Joan Miró, Man Ray, Marc Chagall, René Magritte, and Salvador Dalí. This exhibition, which is open to the public and by appointment, brings together an unparalleled collection of paintings, works on paper, and limited editions, offering a chance to experience the surrealism movement’s enduring power to unsettle, inspire, and ignite imagination. American Fine Art features a 12,000-square-foot gallery and the publisher offers original works by internationally acclaimed masters. Globally recognized, it features masters such as Pablo Picasso, Norman Rockwell, Henri Matisse, Andy Warhol, Banksy, LeRoy Neiman, Joan Miró, Alexander Calder, Salvador Dali, Frederick Mellinger, Leonardo Nierman, and Itzchak Tarkay—to name just a few. Works shown in the gallery and exhibition are available for sale. 3908 N. Scottsdale Road, 480.990.1200; www.warhol.me
Salvador Dalí’s The Persistence of Memory captures the surreal fluidity of time through melting clocks draped over dreamlike landscapes. Merging precision and fantasy, the painting symbolizes the fragility of human perception and the subconscious realm—an enduring masterpiece that redefined modern art’s relationship with time and reality.
