GEAR METROLOGY o We are capable of measuring and

analyzing all types of Gears i.e Spur Gears, Helical Gears, Straight bevel Gears, Spiral bevel gears, Herringbone Gears, Worm and worm shafts. The Gear quality class for all these types can be determined. o The Gleason 475 GMS is a fully

CNC Gear analyzer machine which can analyze all the above mentioned types of gears upto 475mm diameter. The gear quality report is machine generated.

BROACHED PARTS WITH INTERNAL SPLINES o S. G. Gears is capable of

manufacturing Internal Splines with good accuracy and repeatability. Interanl Spline for component with Diameter 500mm can be cut. o We

are generally cut Internal/External splines in Steel, Stainless Steel, Bronze and Aluminum. Splines are used in mechanical rotating drive systems. Any device that transfers rotary motion from an input shaft to an output shaft most likely uses splines of one form or another.

HERRINGBONE GEARS OR DOUBLE HELICAL GEARS Gears find application in steel rolling mills, cement industry etc. Herringbone Gears are used to balance the thrust load. A herringbone gear, a specific type of double helical gear, is a special type of gear which is a side to side (not face to face) combination

of

two

helical

gears

of

opposite hands. From the top the helical grooves of this gear looks like letter V. Unlike helical gears they do not produce an additional axial load.

SPIRAL BEVEL GEARS o We design and manufacture spiral bevel

gears. We manufacture Spiral Bevel Gears per your drawing. We also clone gears by replicating an existing gear. A spiral bevel gear is a bevel gear with helical teeth. The main application of this is in a vehicle differential, where the direction of drive from the drive shaft must be turned 90 degrees to drive the wheels. The helical design produces less vibration and noise than conventional straight-cut or spur-cut gear with straight teeth.

PRECISION MACHINED COMPONENTS o We manufacture Precission

Machined Components which require high Accuracy and Precission. We are capable of machining various componets, pump housings, gear box housings etc as per the customer quality requirements.

SPLINED SHAFTS o S. G. Gears are capable of

manufacturing internal as well as external splines. We are manufacture internal splines with high accuracy and repeatability using Gear Shaping machines and Vertical Broaching Machine of 20Ton 2000mm Stroke.

CUSTOMBUILT GEARBOXES o We have acquired our extensive knowledge

through our own developments and the takeover of OEMs. We strive to keep our OEM knowledge at the highest level by developing new gearboxes using the latest technologies.

SPUR AND HELICAL GEARS o S.G.Gears also have Gear Grinding

Facilities which cover the Diameter and Module Range of our Hobbed Gears.

We can Spur And Helical Gears deliver Gear of DIN Class 7 or AGMA Class 11.

WORM GEARS o Worm gearing is a class of gear reducers

that utilizes right angle, non-intersecting shafts. This style of reducer provides smooth and quiet operation and allows for the possibility of large speed reductions. o These gears are available from stock in a

wide variety of ratios, from as low as 4:1 to as much as 3600:1. The compact design and

construction

allows

worm

gear

reducers to be placed in a relatively small space.

STRAIGHT BEVEL GEARS o S. G. Gears can manufacture a wide

range of straight bevel gears till a maximum dia. of 600 mm. We have nine
