The Goods & Services Tax (GST) is an Indian tax on services and goods.
GST is an indirect tax that has mostly superseded other indirect taxes in India, including excise duty, VAT, & services tax. The Goods and Services Tax Act, approved by the Indian Parliament on March 29, 2017, established GST on July 1, 2017.
