Thank You for Choosing Timberland Acres RV Park.
For the enjoyment and safety of everyone, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines. Quiet Hours: 10:00 pm to 7:00 am Anyone not adhering to these hours will be asked to leave. Check-Out time by 11:00 am. Thank You. • Speed Limit: Beginning at the entrance, the Speed Limit throughout the park is 5 MPH. Please slow down, watch your speed and tell your family, friends and visitors. • Parking: Most sites are made for one vehicle. Additional vehicles that do not fit on your site should be parked at the recreation/pool area, as empty sites may have reservations at any time. • Visitors: All visitors must register at the office. Guests are responsible for their visitors. Visitor’s vehicle tags will be given and must be properly displayed on the rearview mirror. Any vehicle without a proper tag will be asked to leave. All visitors must leave the campground by 9:30 pm and may not arrive before 9:00 am. A per-person visitor fee will be charged. • Bicycles: Bicycles may be ridden throughout the park during daylight hours only. Bikes may not be ridden after sunset and must be on your site at that time. Maine law requires that all children under the age of 16 years must wear a helmet. Please educate your children as to the proper use and etiquette of biking. Bicycle safety rules must be adhered to or bike riding privileges will be suspended. Electric/motorized bikes/cars/scooters/ etc, may not be ridden in the park. Please see office personnel if you have any questions. • Propane: Please come to the office before requesting/ leaving propane tanks to be filled. Tanks can be left at your own risk. All tanks are required to have a tag before they can be filled and/or delivered to your site. Propane is filled from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Call the office in advance to arrange other times. • Trash/Recycle: Trash containers are located across from the Recreation Room. Place only bagged trash in the trash containers. If you prefer you can leave bagged trash at the end of your site from 8:00 am to 10:00 am only and we will pick it up for you. Do not leave trash on your site after 10:00 am. Please help us recycle. We recycle clean cans, bottles, newspapers, magazines, and clear/ white plastics. Place your clean recyclable items in the recycle bins located across from the Recreation Room. We thank you in advance for recycling. • No Fireworks • Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is offered as a free service to our guests. This free service is intended for searching the internet and checking emails. The site is monitored. Any misuse of the Wi-Fi will result in loss of privileges. Due to the wooded Page 2
nature of the park, it is impossible to transmit a signal to the entire park. While we cannot guarantee your site will have a wireless signal, we do have Wi-Fi in the Recreation Room and Pavilion. • Firewood & Campfires: Campfires are permitted in designated fire rings only. Fire rings cannot be moved. Campfires must never be left unattended. All campfires must be extinguished before going inside at night. Firewood is sold at the office. Trees are being destroyed through the transportation of invasive insects and diseases in firewood. Protect the places you love by not moving firewood. Don’t take firewood with you on your camping trip. Instead, buy it where you’ll burn it. • Pets: For the enjoyment of all pet owners and not-pet owners alike, please adhere to the following: Vaccination papers are required for each pet in the park. Copies will be retained in the office. Pets must be on a leash when being walked. An adult must be with children under 16 when walking pets. Pets must be leashed at all times, including on your site. Owners must clean up after their pets. DO NOT throw pet waste in fire rings or surrounding woods; place in dumpster only. Pets are not allowed in any building or pool area. • RV Washing: Please see office personnel before washing your RV on your site. A fee will be charged for each wash. The proper tag will be given at time of payment. No RV washing without proper tag. • Laundry Room: Hours: 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Doors will be locked at 10:00 pm. Laundry should not be started after 9:00 pm. No smoking inside or outside the building. No pets allowed inside the building. • Playground: The playground next to the pool is for children under 10 years of age. The other playground is for children of all ages. No unsupervised children allowed. Parents must accompany their children while at the playground. Do not play on playground when wet. We recommend children remove hood and neck drawstrings, scarves and mittens if connected through the sleeves prior to playing on equipment. Proper footwear required. No running, pushing, or shoving. No dogs allowed. No glass or alcoholic beverages. Playgrounds close daily at sunset. • Shuffleboard, Horseshoes & Basketball: Equipment is available in the office for campers to use. • Available at the Office: RV Supplies, Wood, Ice Cream, Candy, Soda, Snacks, Souvenirs and Blueberries in Season. • Golf Carts - Rentals Available, Quiet Hours 10pm to 7am Thank you for your cooperation.
