YOSEMITE LAKES

RESORT RULES

Hours: See your info packet for Welcome Center, Base Camp Lodge, Laundry and Store hours.

After Hours: Use Call Box located between Laundry and Welcome Center.

Emergency: Call 911. Phones are located at the Welcome Center, Base Camp Lodge and the Store. After hours Emergency, use the call box to contact the on-call Ranger.

The Base Camp Lodge: Children under 16 require adult supervision at all times. The Base Camp Lodge is under video surveillance.

Speed Limit: 5 MPH, NO EXCEPTIONS. This rule includes bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, and scooters (helmets required age 18 and under). This is for your safety as well as other campers, children, pets and wildlife in the campground. Violators will be warned once. Repeat offenders will be asked to leave the resort.

Bicycles, Skateboards and Scooters, etc.: Riders must obey all road regulations. If under the age of 18, a helmet is required by law.

Noise: Please respect your neighbor. Excessive noise will result in you having to leave the resort. Quiet time is from 10 pm to 8 am. During quiet time, children under the age of 18 must be in their respective campsite or under the direct supervision of a parent or sponsoring adult.

Generators: Not allowed on tent sites and only allowed on RV sites in the event of a power failure.

Quads, Motorcycles, etc., can only be ridden with a valid driver’s license to and from your campsite.

Campfires are allowed in a fire ring only, and cannot be higher than kneehigh at any time. Fires must by attended at all times and extinguished when not attended. To extinguish the fire, please use water and stir ashes until the fire is out.

Propane: Please ask at the Welcome Center for pricing on refills. No refills after dark. Propane exchanges available at the store during normal business hours.

Trees: It is prohibited to hang or tie anything to trees or break off branches.

Clotheslines & Electrical Cords: Clotheslines in campsites and electrical cords running from bathrooms are prohibited.

Mail & Messages: The Resort does not accept member or guest mail. If you have a medication or other emergency mail need, please contact the Welcome Center. We ask that all other mail be delivered to: General Delivery • Groveland, CA 95321

NEARBY ACTIVITIES

Rainbow Pool: Natural swimming hole with beautiful flowing waterfalls. Take Yosemite Lake Road to Highway 120. Turn left heading west and continue for approximately 4.9 miles, turn left at the end of Tuolumne River bridge. Look for the sign “Rainbow Pool”. Swimming is best in summer, July through September, but fishing and hiking are good all year long.

Carlon Falls: Take Yosemite Lakes Road to Highway 120. Turn right, continue for 4.4 miles then turn left on to Evergreen Road. Travel one mile to Carlon Falls Trailhead parking area. Approximately 1 hour hike to the falls (3.8 miles roundtrip).

Hetch Hetchy Reservoir (Part of Yosemite National Park): Worth visiting in all seasons. In spring, two of North America’s tallest waterfalls plummet spectacularly over thousand-foot granite cliffs. In the early spring through late fall, visitors have easy access to a vast wilderness filled with high-country lakes, streams, and wildlife. A rare snowy winter day gives adventuresome visitors a chance to explore on skis or snowshoes. Take Yosemite Lakes Road to Highway 120, turn right. After 4.4 miles turn left on Evergreen Road. Continue for approximately 18 miles to O’Shaughnessy Dam. Open 8am to 7pm.
