Loyston Point Campground

Come visit the beautiful Loyston Point Campground, Day Use Area & Cabins on Norris Lake in the foothills of the Appalachian Chain. Loyston Point offers a safe place to park your RV or pitch a tent. We offer 3 single room camping cabins with heating and cooling, and a small fridge and microwave.

Most campsites have a lake view, with many sites on the waterfront. Plus, there are many trees and grassy areas. There are a total of 65 campsites; 60 of which have electric hook-ups. We offer heated and air conditioned restrooms with showers and flush toilets. Each campsite provides a picnic table and fire ring. Any site may be camped on with a tent or RV. The campground offers long-term and short-term camping, and is pet friendly.

Our Day Use Area offers a sandy beach and swim area with picnic tables, grills, and facilities onsite. The countryside offers numerous sightseeing adventures, museums, and antique shopping. One beautiful attraction that is found at Loyston Point is the Hemlock Bluff National Recreational Trail. It is named for the prominence of hemlocks in the hardwood forest that the trail traverses.
