DEEP LAKE CAMPGROUND RULES AND REGULATIONS

All rates, rules, policies, and activities are subject to change.

REGISTRATION: All guests must register at the office upon arrival. Late arrivals should check in when registration opens the next business day.

ON YOUR SITE: The following is what is allowed on your campsite:

• 1 deck, 1 patio (if the site permits)

• 1-2 vehicles (if the site permits)

• 1 shed per site

• 1 recreational vehicle per site (additional vehicles must be authorized by management)

RATES/PRICES: All prices are subject to change and seasonal rates may apply.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES: To ensure units/sites are properly prepared, please adhere to the following times:

• Check-In Times: Lodging Units 3:00 PM

• Check-In Times: RV/Tent Sites 1:00 PM

• Check-Out Times: Lodging Units 11:00 AM

• Check-Out Times: RV/Tent Sites 11:00 AM

OFFICE STORE HOURS: Office hours will be posted on the front door.

RECREATION BUILDING HOURS: Hours will be posted on the front door.

LAUNDRY HOURS: Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

QUIET HOURS: Observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please respect the enjoyment of others by keeping noise levels low during the hours.

BEHAVIOR: This is a family friendly campground. Inappropriate language, disruptive behavior, or non-compliance with rules will not be tolerated. Guests may be asked to leave, with no refund.

CHILD SAFETY: Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times while on the campground. Parents are responsible for their children’s behavior and safety.

PET POLICY: Our Campground is pet friendly with a 2 Pet maximum per site. To ensure all our guests enjoy their stay, please follow these pet guidelines.

• Aggressive dogs of any breed are not permitted.

• Pets must be on leash no longer than 6 feet, and under control at all times.

• Pets may not be left unattended outside your RV/Tent, or Lodging.

• Pet owners must clean up after their pets.

• Excessive barking or disruptive behavior may result in your removal from the campground.

• Service animals are welcome but must adhere to Pet Policies.

NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted in any of our public buildings, cabins, or suites.

LODGING: Please refer to the guidelines listed in your individual cabin specific rules.

RV SITES: These sites are reserved for RVs only. We do not allow tents in RV sites. One unit per site. If available, the non-used seasonal sites will be available for nightly rentals for family members of registered guests only.

TENT SITES: Tent sites are for family members of registered guests only. 1 tent allowed per site and 1 vehicle with no tow.

VEHICLES:

• One vehicle is permitted at each site; two vehicles max if the site permits it.

• A registration tag must be displayed at all times.

• Additional Vehicles can be registered with the office for a $5.00 fee per vehicle.

• The washing of vehicles is prohibited.

• Golf carts, electric bikes, and scooters are allowed, but must be approved by management.

• Operators of Recreational Vehicles must have a Valid Driver’s License, and proof of insurance kept on file.

• Proper Lighting from dusk till dawn.

• Speed Limit: 10 mph, including bicycles. Please be mindful of downhill speeds.

GREEN SPACE: In order to maintain green space, we reserve the right to limit camper lengths in all areas of the campground. Please contact the office BEFORE purchasing a different unit. Construction or alteration of a deck, shed, fence or creating a flower garden etc.

MUST BE APPROVED by management before installation.

DECKS: Decks are allowed, however the length must not exceed the length of your RV. The width will be 10 feet max. They must be a floating deck. No post in the ground. No metal roofs over the deck. Vinyl roofs only. The screen must be clean, neat without holes. No Permanent Structure.

PATIO: Patio must be ground level, floating and not to exceed 12 Feet x 12 Feet which would include steps down. And must be adjacent to the existing deck (see below photo options) (Nothing Permanent). 1 patio per site Gazebo must be on deck or patio. Can not have patio and Gazebo separate.

CAMPFIRES:

• Fires are only allowed in designated fire rings.

• If a burn ban is in effect, no fires are permitted.

• Do Not dump ashes or coals on the ground. Ashes must be cold, bagged, and sealed before disposal in trash receptacles.

• Firewood must be contained within your designated area. Ensure all fires are fully extinguished before leaving them unattended.

FIREWOOD: Firewood can be purchased on-site, or brought in from within Wisconsin. Gathering or cutting wood from campground property is prohibited. Firewood from outside of Wisconsin is not allowed due to ecological concerns.

TREES AND VEGETATION: Help us preserve the natural beauty of the campground.

• Do not hang or tie anything to trees.

• Cutting, carving, or damaging trees/branches is prohibited.

• Do not dump any detergents or other harmful substances near trees or shrubs.

FLAGS: Flags or signs displaying political endorsements, profanity, or discriminatory symbols (including the Confederate Flag) are prohibited. Violation of this policy will result in the removal of the offending display and possible removal from the campground.

RESPONSIBILITY: You are responsible for all damage or losses to your unit or site during your stay. If you do not have a credit card on file with us, you agree to pay the amount billed to you.

TRASH: All trash must be secure in a tied garbage bag. Dumpsters are located at the main entrance of the property. Fire rings are not trash receptacles. Please help us keep our grounds beautiful.

SEWER/SEPTIC: Please do not flush any diapers, sanitary napkins, tampons, disposable towelettes, cigarette butts, or razors into the sewer.

FIREARM/WEAPONS POLICY: Firearms, fireworks, bows, air rifles,

BB guns, and any other projectile-firing devices are prohibited on campground property.

SITE MAINTENANCE: Each guest is responsible for maintaining their site. Grass and weeds must be kept mowed and trimmed. Failure to maintain your site may result in a $100 clean-up fee, with one warning.

Continued issues may result in further penalties.

SITE MANAGEMENT AND ACCESS: Campground staff reserves the right to enter campsites for the maintenance of utilities or emergencies. Entry will be conducted with respect for your quiet enjoyment.

OFF-SEASON CLOSURE: The campground is closed from October 15th to May 1st. There is no over winter camping, or use of your camper for recreational use during these months. Any violation of this policy may result in the cancellation of your reservation.

CHECKING ON YOUR CAMPER: Weather permitting, we will accept requests to check on your camper during the winter months. We will require 72 hours notice to complete the request. If your request can be accommodated we will notify you within that 72 hour timeframe. Checking on your camper should only require a 30 minute inspection. That is adequate time to inspect the inside, as well as the outside.

LOCK-SITE DEPOSIT: Deposits will be due by November 1st or earlier (if applicable). This lock site fee secures your site and locks in your seasonal rate for the upcoming season. All Lock Site Fees are non-refundable but will be credited towards next year’s seasonal balance. If not returning for the following season, Units must be removed by Nov. 1st.

END OF YEAR RESERVATIONS: We will ask you to read and sign Campground Rules and Regulations. Your signature ensures you are aware of campground policies. We will also ask you to fill out Campground

Registration form including:

• Name

• Address

• Phone #

• Vehicles

• Boats

• Recreational Vehicles

• Pets

VIOLATION OF POLICY: Failure to adhere to Campground Rules and Regulations may result in the cancellation of your reservation, removal from the property, and the loss of any campsite privileges without a refund.

Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss from any cause.

By signing this document, you acknowledge Deep Lake’s Rules and Regulations. You agree to abide by and follow rules while on property.
