Ongreening was chosen by UNESCO, HiRef S.p.A., and EU-funded Cheap-GSHPs research team to carried out an assessment aimed at evaluating potential contribution and eligibility of the Cheap-GSHPs technologies to most-accepted international green building rating systems, such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL.
The assessment was undertaken ProductMAP®, the Ongreening’s proprietary data-driven algorithm that uses more than 11,000 sustainability criteria to automatically
product eligibility and contribution to 44+ major green building rating schemes and Green Public Procurement Criteria (Criteri Ambientali Minimi).
EU-funded Cheap-GSHPs research project has focused on the development of innovative Ground Source Heat Pump solutions, new drilling technique and the coaxial ground source heat exchanger system.
The publication also provides a brief overview of the global green building industry and its trends, as well as a brief introduction of the major rating systems for cultural and civil buildings.
