In 2024, ONE WORLD Citizens continued her organisation from the official status of the Supervisory Board.
This year, we transformed the foundation of the ONE WORLD Citizens organization's strategy and the development of the We Grow Together (WGT) program, platform, and community, which were based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from 2014 to 2023, into the 16 Earth Charter Values. This was because, in co-creation with our global community of young people, we recognized that the 16 values of the Earth Charter are more holistic and inspire us to connect more deeply as human beings and Earth. A necessary connection to build a sustainable world and future for all.
2024 became the year of completion of the We Grow Together concept, by which we can create a well organized bottom-up movement globally working together from the Power of Youth and their local communities to build a Peaceful, Inclusive and Climate-proof world and future for all. Including our Earth and the Future Generations.
In this annual report we will inform you about:
● the Supervisory Board members and board meetings 2024
● the 'Supplementary Annual Report 2024’ in which we explain the completion of the WGT concept

Living Legends projects and 4 complementary We Grow Together Youth Exchange & Dialogue event projects
In 2012, we founded ONE WORLD Citizens (OWC) in co-creation with young people. Our goal was to bring together young people with ideas for change from various countries online, encouraging them to believe in the change they see and helping each other translate those ideas into activities, projects, and even startups that have an impact.
At OWC, we believe in the importance of the visions and ideas for change of the youngest generations. Evolutionarily speaking, they were born to take and create the next steps in the development of humanity and the Earth.
From 2012 to 2024, the first young people of the We Grow Together community were able to gradually develop their ideas into social start-ups, making a significant impact in their communities.
In 2024, we were able to demonstrate and prove, using their examples, that it pays to believe in young people's ideas and help them translate them into action. Not only for the young people themselves, but especially for the change that is essential for everyone to have a future.
Living Legends examples that proof: it makes sense to support the youngest generations to make the change they want to see!

When a new asylum seekers' center opened in 's-Hertogenbosch in 2024, she was asked to transform her volunteer project "Welkom in Den Bosch" (Welcome to 's-Hertogenbosch) into a startup to contribute to a warm and strong community of newcomers with a migration background, and the local population. To make them aware of the importance of their visions and ideas for change and to experience during the Live Weeks that, despite all their differences, they have much in common as they look to the future. And that together they can make a significant impact on the lifestyle and societal changes they envision and want to achieve.
