Glen Oaks Community is owned and operated by One Vision. Since 1971, One Vision, a non-profit organization, has consistently committed to standing with and supporting people with disabilities to pursue their best life. However, the model of how individuals are supported has changed over time. Now One Vision serves most individuals in their homes in their chosen community where they can experience independence and inclusion. Because of this change in services, in 2017 One Vision had the opportunity to address housing needs in Clear Lake. The Glen Oaks Community features two living options for active adults 55 and older: a rental option at TimberCrest Apartments or Terrace Townhomes, which are available for purchase. When residents choose to live in the Glen Oaks Community, they are also helping One Vision fulfill its mission today and into the future.
