What am I allowed to say to a GLP-1 customer?
You can explain to customers who have been prescribed GLP-1 that they can use The 1:1 Diet products, follow the Steps plan, and receive your one-to-one support as part of their weight loss journey.
Am I allowed to advertise that I am using GLP-1?
No – your role as a Consultant is primarily to promote the products and the benefits of losing weight with The 1:1 Diet. Advertising weight loss through another weight loss company would be considered a conflict of interest. What support can I offer a customer on GLP-1?
You can provide regular weekly weigh-ins, motivation, and guidance on the Step they’ re following. They also have access to the app for recipes, ordering, and tracking progress. Any advice regarding their GLP-1 medication must come from their prescriber.
What products can a GLP-1 customer buy?
Customers prescribed GLP-1 can purchase any of The 1:1 Diet products and must follow Step 2 or higher.
Can I contact customers who left to start GLP-1 injections?
Yes, you can reach out to former clients who are now using GLP-1 and let them know you ’ re able to support them. This can be done via WhatsApp and social media. Do I have to offer this?
No, providing support to GLP-1 customers is not mandatory. However, if you ' re contacted by someone using GLP-1 and choose not to support them, please refer them to another Consultant who does.
Can I convert a GLP-1 customer to a full 1:1 Diet client?
Absolutely. Now that GLP-1 is part of the Steps protocol, customers can continue using The 1:1 Diet even if they stop their GLP-1 medication. They should speak to their pharmacist for support and guidance regarding their GLP-1 usage.
What if an existing dieter tells me they’ re starting GLP-1?
You do not need to create a new ePRF. Instead, update their current ePRF to reflect the change and ensure they are on Step 2 or above. For example: If they’ re on Step 1a, they need to step up to at least Step 2. If they’ re on Step 2 or Step 3, they can remain on their current Step.
I already have a customer who is on GLP-1 and just buying products from me. Can they continue to do so?
Yes. You do not need to change how you are already working with these people if they are comfortable as it is now.
