Paralympian potential inspires Heads’ students Whangarei Heads School recently hosted “The Spirit Of Gold” Art Exhibition and enjoyed an inspiring visit from Sarah Dance of Paralympics New Zealand. “The Spirit Of Gold” Art Exhibition which was held on Friday, August 12, features 12 portraits by kiwi artist Amber Gabrielle of some of New Zealand’s most well known Paralympians and Para athletes. They were also shown a few short videos of the various athletes in training, including Paralympian swimmer Sophie Pascoe and Paralympian Cameron Leslie, from Whangarei, who is a swimmer and wheelchair rugby player.
