This young and dynamic company puts its desire to better the quality of children’s environments at the centre of its daily work through seeking to bring together different languages and forms of know-how. The PLAY project takes its place in the broader research journey of the Reggio Emilia early childhood centres, with particular emphasis on designing environments inhabited by children. Different designers of different nationalities, given unity by one art direction, offer multiple points of view, use different ways of seeing and different cultures to “listen” to and dialogue with children’s environments and make them richer.

Esta empresa joven y dinámica pone todo su empeño en mejorar la calidad de los entornos de los niños, esta es su labor diaria a través de la investigación.

El proyecto PLAY toma su lugar en el viaje de la búsqueda más amplia de los centros de Reggio Emilia en la primera infancia, con especial énfasis en el diseño de entornos habitados por los niños. Diferentes diseñadores de distintas nacionalidades, estan coordinados con una dirección de arte, ofreciendo múltiples puntos de vista, compartiendo maneras de ver y transmitiendo sus culturas.

MOLECULE

Molecule is a system of modular, transformable seating that can create soft landscapes for playing or sitting, but also tunnels to crawl through or protected hiding places. Suitable for common spaces, reception areas, entrances, or waiting rooms in places other than schools, airports, shopping malls, stores..., the dimensions enable use by children and adults together.

Molecule es un sistema de asientos modulares, transformable que puede crear paisajes suaves para jugar o sentarse, pudiendo simular un tĂşnel o un escondite secreto.

Adecuado para espacios comunes, ĂĄreas de juego, salas de espera, escuelas, aeropuertos, centros comerciales, tiendas..., las dimensiones permiten su uso tanto para niĂąos como adultos.

ATOLL

Atoll is a microplace, a small area delimited by soft boundaries that can support the youngest children, still uncertain, or act as a backrest or armrest. Atoll is composed of two organically-shaped elements on a basemat, which can be arranged by both children and adults as the situation requires.

Atoll es un MicroPlace, una pequeña área delimitada por los blandos brazos donde pueden apoyarse los más pequeños, actuando como un respaldo o reposabrazos.

Atoll se compone de dos elementos con forma redondeada sobre una alfombra como base, puede ser utilizado tanto por niños como por adultos.

LEM

A truncated cone shelter with a hole for access and two “eyes” to look out of without being seen (or to peek inside to see who’s there). The opening at the top allows light to enter from above and also enables the adult to intervene quickly in case of need.

Un refugio en forma de cono, con un agujero para el acceso y dos “ojos” para mirar sin ser visto, (o para ver quién está dentro). La apertura en la parte superior permite la entrada de luz desde arriba y también permite que el adulto pueda intervenir rápidamente en caso de necesidad.

The Wish Come True series was created as magic toys that bring the power of wishing to the hand of the beholder. Each of the toys is packaged in a surprise blind box, which lets the universe decide which Friend will help make your Wish-Come-True.

The Wish Come True series, fueron creados como juguetes mágicos que traen el poder del deseo a la mano del espectador. Cada uno de los juguetes está empaquetado en una caja sorpresa, que permite decidir que amigo te ayudará a hacer que tu deseo se haga realidad.

MALFI

Malfi is the main character and ambassador of the FriendsWithYou universe. Legend has it that Malfi is an ancient wizard spirit that can bring you great wealth or double trouble. Good luck and be careful what you wish for!.

Malfi es el personaje principal y el embajador del universo FriendsWithYou. La leyenda dice que Malfi es el espíritu de un antiguo mago que puede ofrecerte una gran riqueza o un doble problema. ¡Buena suerte y ten cuidado con lo que deseas!.

MUFFIN

BUMBLE GRUMP

Muffin es una forma mágica. ¡Él puede convertirse en todo lo que quiera... bueno, a veces! Trátalo con cariño y tendrás un amigo para toda la vida.

Muffin is a magical shape shifter. He can turn himself into anything he wants… well, sometimes! Treat him with kindness and you will have a Friend for life.

MR.TTT RAINBOW

Mr. TTT is a shape-shifter that takes on many forms. With the ability to provide you with all of the love and affection you desire, this cute and soft Friends will warm your heart and home.

RAINBOW VALLEY

Rainbow Valley is an interactive permanent art piece at Aventura Mall, which is being called a museum mall for their extensive art collection. Our first ever dream playground come to life. Rainbow Valley is the enchanting story of a miniature mountain who loses his family and goes on a search for other small mountains to play with. This adventure is filled with rainbow blasts, magic, and earth moving moments!.

Rainbow Valley es una pieza interactiva de arte en Aventura Mall, dentro de su extensa colección de arte en el museo. Este es nuestro sueño que ha cobrado vida, para que los niños tengan su patio de recreo. Rainbow Valley es la encantadora historia de una pequeña montaña que pierde a su familia y va en la búsqueda de otras pequeñas montañas para jugar. ¡Esta aventura está llena de explosiones de arco iris, magia y movimiento de tierras!.

HEXAGONE

HEXAGONE “A Hex Is Gone”, was a group exhibition in Miami Art Space curated by Jose Mertz. FriendsWithYou collaborated with fellow Miami artist Bhakti Baxter to create a Wish Come True playroom installation entitled “Wish World”. This FriendsWithYou filled a magical room painted by Baxter with a series of giant inflatables, inviting all guests to play and interact in this one of a kind experience.

HEXAGONE “A Hex Is Gone”, fue una exposición colectiva en Miami Art Space.

FriendsWithYou llena una habitación de magia, con la colaboración de Baxter que pintó un mural, proporcionando el conjunto perfecto para una serie de inflables gigantes, invitando a todos los presentes a jugar e interactuar en esta experiencia única.

CROCODILE

The Crocodile’s most obvious function is as a staircase, which enhances the strength and balance of the child. When turned upside down you have an angled surface with a see saw function and the child can walk/lie on its entire straight surface. The Crocodile has three seating levels for the small child and it is splendid for the social dimension that 2-3 children can sit together on the same piece of furniture.

La función más obvia de Crocodile es la de una escalera que realza la fuerza y el equilibrio del niño. Cuando se coloca al revés se obtiene una superficie angular con un tobogán donde el niño puede caminar o tumbarse. Crocodile tiene tres niveles de asiento para los más pequeños y también posibilidad de que dos o incluso tres niños puedan sentarse juntos.

The Fish are available in two sizes and can be stacked. The low one is for the child who has just learned to sit. The big one is for the older child, and stacked, they fit teenagers and grown-ups. It has a size that enables the child to sit on it while in movement, which enhance not only the balance but also the joint senses. Children can lie across them and have both the backside of their bodies and their arms strengthened.

Fish es una gran diversión, lo encontramos en dos medidas según la edad o tamaño del niño. Es una aplicación muy recomendada para ayudarles con su psicomotricidad, fortaleciendo no sólo su equilibrio sino también sus sentidos y articulaciones. Los niños lo pasarán en grande con Fish.

SNAKE

The Snake can function as a table, a tunnel or turned upside down and used as a boat.

Snake, recomendada para desarrollar su imaginación, creando un túnel, un barco o una mesa.

The Chicken can be used as a stepping stone and turned upside down, there is a see saw function.

Chicken puede ser un divertido puente que cruzar, o girarlo y convertirlo en balancĂ­n.

The new Domestic Landscapes propose rehabilitating and reintroducing monumental decors with panoramic wallpaper by making a clean sweep of the photographic tracks explored in the past and by proposing about 10 artists, designers or graphic artists to create contemporary decors which today can justify rehabilitating this type of decor.

Limited edition to 100 numbered pieces per year and signed by the artist.

The new Domestic Landscapes propone un nuevo concepto de rehabilitar y reintroducir decorados con papel tapiz, haciendo tabla rasa de las pistas fotográficas, explorando en el pasado y proponiendo unos 10 artistas, diseñadores gráficos para crear decoraciones contemporáneas que hoy puede justificar la rehabilitación de este tipo de decoración.

A rocker solution that epitomizes “play potential”. It can be used as a speeding motorcycle, a galloping horse or even a balance beam. The open ended design allows kids to bring their imagination to life and create an experience all their own. Its large size allows for two kids to grab a hold and take off. It is constructed from durable molded ply as strong the log that inspired it.

I tried to capture the subtle feelings that come to my mind from everyday things that people take for granted. A blade of grass, a breeze, a dancing shadow of a leaf, or the sound of a laughing baby. These are some of the things that I try to capture and weave into a story in my work.

Each work tells a personal story we all share because we can all appreciate the little things in life whether you live in New York, London, or my home in Seoul.

designArtist pretende crear no sólo una admirable obra de arte, sino también un producto funcional. Cada obra incluye un poema que cuenta una historia y como se inspiró. Se trata de capturar los sentimientos sutiles que vienen a la mente del artista, las cosas diarias que las personas dan por sentado, una hoja en la hierba, la brisa, o el sonido de un bebé riendo.

Cada obra cuenta una historia personal que todos compartimos, porque todos podemos apreciar las cosas pequeñas de la vida.

TREE BOOKSHELF

A bookshelf in home no longer has to be just a rectangular piece of furniture; it can now be a piece of art in its own right.

This concept was inspired from Designartist Shawn is early memories of sticking letters on tree branches.

Introducing the Tree Bookshelf, a tree-themed bookshelf which changes form dynamically as books are stacked up and removed from the tree branches.

Una estantería en casa ya no tiene por que ser sólo un mueble rectangular, ahora puede ser una obra de arte por derecho propio.

Presentamos Tree Bookshelf, una biblioteca que cambia de forma dinámica a medida que los libros se colocan y se retiran de las ramas del árbol.

HIDDEN DIMENSION PART1

The material is a white birch.

The design itself clearly speaks out my concept of the Hidden Dimension by following the form of a staircase.

The design gives you the feeling that you just pick up a book from a bookshelf under the staircase and climb up into an attic to read the book alone.

El material es abedul blanco.

El diseño de Hidden Dimension, juega con las dimensiones y concepto siguiendo la forma de una escalera. Este diseño proporciona un ambiente para relajarse a leer, creando la sensación de subir a un altillo.
